Most of them living in Kolkata went to USA, Canada and Australia. Also, there were many Chinese people living in India before 1962. After 1962 situation at that time became very difficult for them but later on situation improved and many opened restaurants and they are actually doing good in the Restaurant business. Also, have you visited the Chinese Kali Temple in Kolkata.

Not all Nagas eat dog meat, the cat meat is very rare. I think this needs to be stopped!
Im not a supporter for eating cats/dogs, neither against it. Eating meat is how our ancestors survived and thus having us human beings till nowadays :)

Some Chinese eat other meats too, turtle rabbit frog fox ect...mainly in south China...but diff from individuals to individuals..and i saw ppl in central asia eat horse, Australian horse crocodile kangaroo wallabies..peruvians eating guinea pigs..Nanibians deer..so it's universal that human consume diff animals
