I see a comic book room tour for the first time. It was a great idea to show us yours. For me, it's a nice experience, thanks a lot and congratulations on your collection!
Really nice setup man! It's so tidy. :) I know what you mean about moving. The *only* reason I bought a house was because I was sick of moving my collection around. My dad used to say dumb things like, why pay someone else's mortgage, it's a great investment, yadda yadda. But he never understood the need to settle down with a good comic collection. ;)
Like the new room and set up! I showed in a recent video, that at my local used book store, I found the first 18 issues of New 52 Swamp Thing plus issue 0 and the first annual a dollar a piece. Looking forward to digging into those soon.
Great looking set-up! HP is what got me more into reading too as a kid. I kind of hated reading novels before those books. Since then I devour them :-D
Awesome comic book corner man. Liked the presentation area for all the Hellboy stuff :) "Moving is a wake-up call for how much crap you have" I felt the same way when I moved haha xP
ZombieToaster It's still available in a few places. You'll probably pay a bit more. This one for example is just a little over what I paid for it. www.atomicempire.com/item.aspx?item=155334
Wow Im kinda shocked how little it raised in price after IDW stopped stocking it. The other AA's I've only discovered after being sold out all doubled or more in price immediately. I think I'll have to stike while the iron is hot. Thanks.
Just watched your video - thanks for sharing. Its great to see how other comic book collectors organize and display their geek goodness. Love the Justice League poster and I also noticed you have some of the older, original Animal Man comics. You have some great taste in comic reading! I also noticed that you have a stand to display your Hellboy Artist Edition. I have the Red Sonja Artist Edition and thought this was an excellent way to display it. Do you recall where you got that stand? I would love to get something like it. Again - thanks for sharing.
Something I never understood is why people store their books in those ugly cardboard boxes when you could get something more attractive. Even if there were black or something but the white boxes look so junky. Other than that it's cool.
littleripper312 I can give you a few reasons. A. They're affordable and readily available. B. YOU may think they look junky, but I would argue (and I know some that would agree) that they are an endearing part of comic collecting. IMO there's nothing better than a full longbox of comics to look through. A filing cabinet or other storage option just isn't the same for me.
Rocco3255 BCW or on eBay. I went to a comic store in Los Angeles and they have Hellboy short box for 10$. Yay! Or you can order bulk from either an eBay comic store or from BCW themselves.

what is B.P.R.D? I am new to the "new" comics that have been around for 10 years. I am not familiar with that title? Who or what is BPRD? If you have that huge a collection, it must be important or sort of good. Why do you like it so much? Are they in great demand? Do they have good art and stories?
catsintexas BPRD is part of the Hellboy universe. It runs parallel to Hellboy and starts after Hellboy leaves the BPRD. The Hellboy book covers his story and BPRD keeps up with the rest of the team. I'm a huge fan of Hellboy and the Mignolaverse in general.
87Bobafett I got it at Hobby Lobby. I think any kind of home decor/crafty type store would do. I also picked up some metal ones that I use to display singles/trades and stuff.
Wow now I am jealous!!! No way I could keep my collection so well presented!!! Great going!!
jcseiji I got everything organized when I didn't have a lot and it been pretty easy to maintain! Thanks for watching!
Sweet room, and collection! Thanks for sharing!

Spiro Dotgeek haha yea, really not looking forward to moving it all again. Hopefully pretty soon it'll be in one place permanently.

Collectorofstuff That's a great deal! The Snyder run was pretty good but it gets really good when Charles Soule takes over at 19!
I love seeing room tours great stuff man.
Adam Day Thanks for watching dude!
Oh wow! I'm love how organized everything is with the comics, graphic novels, etc... Very nice man 👍
Ari Geiger Thanks and thanks for watching!
Great setup! I'm like that too, i'm either super into buying graphic novels or filling runs.
flamingjellybeans Yea, I'm always back and forth. Obsessed with one or the other.
Looks real nice and all tidy :) cool job man!
Great looking set-up! HP is what got me more into reading too as a kid. I kind of hated reading novels before those books. Since then I devour them :-D
JB Same here! It's a great place to start.

Nice setup love your shelves
Kenneth Brown Thanks man!
Nice set up man and yes ikea is Ballin on a budget.
gdjrod Yup, great stuff for decent prices.

Really Amazing Spiderman 361 just sitting there saying to me "you need me to complete your Carnage collection". That hurts man....
Ayyyyyy first appereance of carnage there
Won't lie tho this is pretty cool it made my room and collection look like shit
Can't wait to pass out on that couch haha!
***** It's ready for you! haha
I am so freaking jealous about that Mignola Artists Edition because I forgot about it until after it had been sold out.

Nice Justice League poster, I have the same exact one hanging over my comics as well.
TheCollectors Thanks!!
Awesome set-up man. I wish my comic collection was as organized...
***** You'll get there man! It's a lot of work on the front end but it's totally worth it when it's all done.
It's why I want to go Mylar so when I'm done...I'm done. No need to re-bag everything every so often
***** I love Mylar. Just can't justify going 100%. If the mylar bag is worth more than the book that's going in it, that's a problem for me. haha
True. I see both sides to that...lol
Looks nice man!
This room is amazing! I just stumbled onto you channel and I love it already. Could you please tell me the size of the table you put your boxes on?
i got the same justice league poster, its sick
Brodie Rule Hell yea! Thanks for watching.
Great looking area bro! LOL I was wondering how you were going to get 300 to sit on your shelf! Can't wait to see the collection videos man!
RunningWithComics Thanks dude!! Can't wait to finally film them. I've been putting it off for a long time.
Love your collection!

Looks great man. I gotta just buck up and get some more shelving. How much of your place does all that take up??
Nice setup you got there
ComixQuest Thanks!!
Very cool room buddy
Stacey Gallagher Thanks!!
Nice tour bro and I do not ever want to feel your pain of moving stuff:P
Phakaday Trust me dude. It SUCKS! haha
Curious about where you bought the display for the Hellboy Artist Edition. I just bought my first artist edition and would love to display it.
What happens after you get married!!?? Bigger living room? Nice set-up.
Why do you not open the pop vinyl figures?
i have that exact justice league poster.

honestly there aren't many choices to begin with. BCW makes black plastic bins the size of short boxes, and they stack, but they're $30 a pop.
Hey I’ll buy that uncanny x force omnibus off of you how much you want??
awesome comic room
I'm new to comic book collecting and I was wondering where do you get the boxes to keep the comics in?
Rocco3255

What is this EYEKEYAHH?
What was that pokemon thing?
Who's your Justice League?
where'd you get the tags for your comics??
Very nice setup good sir.. where did you get that stand for your artist edition???
87Bobafett I got it at Hobby Lobby. I think any kind of home decor/crafty type store would do. I also picked up some metal ones that I use to display singles/trades and stuff.
Lemme hold Da Book! Artist edition! Arrrrrrbllaaah... *stretches arms out*
I just moved myself. I think it was 26 short boxes, 2 long boxes, and 11 copy paper boxes. You're right, it is a pain in the ass. lol
Comics is all fine and dandy, but where is my bed? ; )
***** The couch is all ready for you :)
Yesssssss!!!! I got my eyes on the key issue box ; ) PS- I'm going to do a video soon on some hot covers that I picked up this month.
