As an old Eagle Scout we always picked up our trash and left no trace. I love to go off road and adventure, we are all responsible for the care of these areas. Another beautiful video, thank you Rob Not a great advert for selling a vehicle though! It’s fun to find a couple year old cream puff out there and make it your own, that is what I’d do and just did earlier this year. Let someone else take the depreciation hit. Good luck!
I support preservation. We had an old unmaintained road that ran through our land and others land that we allowed jerpers to travel and see the landscape. They always respected the land. This tribe of side by sides started showing up, they cut trees, burried their trash, left smoldering campfires, stacked rocks, desecrated Anasazi sites, traveled off the trail, so we built pipe gates and nobody is allowed there anymore. Jeepers were very respectful, side by side tribes tear up the land and just have no respect.
@acstorm07 the jeepers tire tracks proved they stayed on the trail. The sidebyside tire tracks didn't, they went up and down washes, climbed rocks, shot their beer bottles on the trail with 22's, 9mm, 12 gauge, cut down trees to try and build a fire, desecrated ancient graineries. But we built a pipe fence and gate, and now it is no longer accessible by anyone but us. We've had people show up asking to cross, but we don't allow anyone anymore.
After watching your videos I went out and bought a ‘16 4Runner. All I can say is… I was left unsupervised! I didn’t tell my wife what I was doing 😂 Anyway I’d say go with the 4Runner. Your videos inspired me to plan a trip with my family. None of them have any clue. Thanks for the inspiration!

We were just out there last month. We camped by the Temple of the Sun. That first deep water crossing I remember well. It's a beautiful area and it's a shame that the SUWA is trying to shut down the Swell and parts around Moab.
Great video. That drone you filmed in camp seems super loud. As much as I appreciate drone footage every now and then, it illustrates why I am happy they are not allowed in many areas.
As much as I enjoy flying my drone, I’m also glad they’re not allowed in many areas like National Parks. They’re loud and annoying. I don’t really fly mine around other people (unless they’re part of the trip) but some people don’t think about it.
Great shots, especially of the hill climb!
