I recognise some elements of the solo assistant being similar to the Fields of Fire system published by GMT. Maybe you should try it since you are into solo playing.

Yeah, I've heard good things about Fields of Fire, so will add your recommendation to the list - it definitely warrants a closer look!
But for GMT, what I really have my eye on is "Red Dust Rebellion" - the setting seems cool, and I've ve never played a COIN game before

I really do apologize for this being a stupid question, but where did you get these materials? Are they part of a released product, or did you print them yourself? Also do you need the Solo Assistant to make it work? Just getting into it, and I’m clearly confused! :-)

So all this comes from the same product, "Heroes of the Bitter Harvest" from Lock 'N Load Publishing (unboxing of that is here ruclips.net/video/LhiHHpyOSn8/видео.html)
It is ostensibly a 2 player tactical heck and counter game, but one of the pieces included is the Solo Assistant for playing 1 player. Also included is a scenario generator and a light role playing campaign system - this one boxed product includes plenty to play with!

Oh thank you so much for that explanation! I’m going to go grab a copy and give it a try. Subscribed, and thanks again! :-)

@seanm3330 no worries! It's a fun system, and perfect when gaming for 1!!!
