I am enjoying these games a lot. The only thing I am having trouble with is the special rules that many scenarios seem to have are not posted on the screen while you are playing the actual scenario so it takes multiple tries sometimes to get it right.
MOE!! Hi bud, was looking at this last night so naturally your vid came up. I don’t know anything about the game, but was looking for a squad lvl tactical game. Still in early access and for $4.99, I might just grab this! Their other packs are $9.99. I’m thinking about just “Jumping in” and playing as you mentioned in another comment here. I mean, the PDF Rulebook is 276 pages long..... that’s intimidating to me! This game can’t be that complicated, right?! And like you said, the Computer takes care of all the rules. (But it’s still nice to Know them).
Tom D it isn’t a complex game to learn but it is involved and has a lot of chrome that gets used in different scenarios but not all at once. Grab the digital game, it’ll help you learn the system and have a lot of fun for cheap in the meantime. The rules are long but the text is large font and a metric crap ton of illustrated examples of play throughout the book. You can download the PDF for free from the LnL website to check it out. Plus, inside the rules you’ll find two of the most detailed and helpful illustrated walkthroughs on how to learn the game. That takes up about a third of the rules alone, so that should help with perspective on the number of rules in the book I say grab it. You’ll have fun and can learn the system as you play!
Moe - Awesome thanks! I’ll buy it when I get home! When Multiplayer comes out, we should do Battle. I would be honored getting my arse kicked by you! 😁
Moe's Game Table I read that they do plan to add one. I wound up buying the base game with the added scenarios to help support to and for what the future will bring.
Jump right in and start playing. The full manual is included in the game but you can start moving counters, checking out the actions, and throwing lead down range right away as you learn because the computer enforces the rules for you. Have fun!
@@backdoorslam yes they are but they're pretty simple. If you want to fully learn the whole system, I strongly recommend checking out The Gimpy Gamer channel, or Lock 'n Load's channel. Gimpy has done a great job running through the rule book teaching each rule in bite size chunks. Thanks for the kind words, glad you're enjoying the channel!
Love the boardgame, love the new digital implementation after just a couple games played.
It's solid for sure! It's just going to get better as development continues.

Glad someone got to play it today.
Steam has been delaying things often lately, I have a good feeling that we'll see it tonight.

Do you think they will ever have a scenario maker for this?
The battle generator will likely not be available until after all of the modules are available.

Will you preview "Victory & Glory"?
I will, once I've got some time to sit with it further.
Guns recorded too loud.....thanks for the vid
This looks good, I guess it is time to give in and get a Steam account!
A perfect time to get one!
