It's always a pleasure to see your vids, Fay! I watched the whole video and hope you achieve your goals. I think your hair looks very nice and I can tell you are doing a great job with the health and length. I cannot reccomended and products, unfortunately. I only use a cream and oil which are heavier products for natural hair. However, it works very well on my permanently Straightened hair. As for your length goals, you will most likely reach your 2-inch goal, especially since hair grows 4-6 in. per year. So I think that time frame (from now until September) is 100% realistic. I would suggest (like your friend) to start trying/ researching extension brands so you can color and texture match ahead of time. So that way, you can have your hair reach your goals but also have the extensions give your hair a boost in thickness and length, even if it's just temporary.
i follow a similar hair routine to yours but instead of washing my hair every 2 weeks i wash it every week and i notice that i get dry flakes when i extend my wash days by 2 days or more. maybe your scalp is trying to tell you that you need to wash it a day or two sooner than what you’re currently washing

And it's been like this for over 19 years now 😕 No dryness. My hair can get dry in this cold. But I've been keeping up with moisture. I'm trying to find a good leave-in. I wonder what is causing the uneven growth, maybe it is just genetic. I’m going to be mindful of my coats and bag etc, but if it continues then I’ll know it’s just how my hair grows 😅
Congratualation on your upcoming nuptials! When I have issues with my scalp I use As I Am Dry & Itchy Scalp Care Oil Treatment; you can probably put it in the night before and wash it out the next day, it has a strong smell but it is very effective for scalp issues. Hope this helps.
My goals for this year are to keep growing my hair out in a healthy manner. I only use heat (blowdry or flatiron) twice a year. I use various heatless drying methods otherwise. This has allowed my hair to retain length, volume, thickness, and shine. I right now have hair that almost reaches arm pit length (2-2.5 inches away). I'm happy and cannot wait to have waist or hop length hair. I'm still debating whether to have a blunt cuz with long face framing layers. Or actually cut layers throughout my hair once I reach my goal.
I'm still thinking about my goals, but I definitely plan on using more oils this year for prepoos, etc. I participated in hairlicious oil challenge at the end of last year, and I feel like it made a great difference. I got virgin chia seed oil from the ordinary brand, and I really like it. It's lightweight and can be used for the face and hair. It's a great moisturizer, and it actually sinks into the hair shaft, plus it has many other benefits. 💜

Only using heat twice a year is an achievement. I can tell you really take care of your hair, I bet you’ll reach your goals quickly.

For me 2021 et 2022 is not a good years for my hair but 2023 it's go on be good for my lenght and healthy hair
