    What is the best size of elastic cord for making stretchy bracelet. How do we know the right size of seed beads and elastic or cords to use? Thank you

    Hi, I just discovered that Toho made glow in the dark seed beads, but do you know if they do ‘glow in the dark’ in their Aiko or Treasure cyclinder beads? I’m having trouble finding out.
    I’d love to make brick stitch butterflies with them, but rounded seed beads just look uneven in brick stitch. Thanks

    Love beading, however you didn't mention that tohos and miyukis are truly different in size... Tohos are more square than miyukis which are rounder on the edge and the difference in size can make a huge difference in bead counts and end result of the piece... I learned that the hard way..😏

      Great point, Sonia. We have found that Miyuki Delicas and TOHO Treasures, both cylinder-shaped beads, are very comparable, but it's true - when working with such small beads, any variance in size and shape can definitely affect bead counts and beading results :) Thanks for watching!

    Hi! I tried to print the instructions for You Are My Sunshine Bracelet and there seems to be something wrong with it, it will not print. I am hoping you can fix the link because I would like to make it and I need the security of having printed directions. Thank you

    Hello and greetings from Sri Lanka!
    I have recently started making earrings with miyuki nr 11 glass seed beads. And I would like to attach the beadwork with thread guardians to the ear hooks. But I do not know what size of thread guards I would have to order over the internet to fit with miyuki glass beads nr 11.
    Further I don't know which metall (stainless steel, gold- and silverplated or copper etc.) would be of best and long lasting quality (besides not expensive!).
    I would need those in silver and gold colours only.
    Your kind advise on what size, which kind of metall and maybe also where to order from would be highly appreciated.
    Thank you so much. 💐

      Hi, we have a variety to choose from that you can order here: artbeads.com/cable-thimbles/ The hole size of each is listed on the item page, you'll want to use one with a hole size that's a bit bigger but close to your stringing material size. I hope this helps!

    What is "ot" you keep saying after each number size? 11 ot?

    • @ArtbeadsVideos
      @ArtbeadsVideos  5 месяцев назад +1

      Sorry, it's aught which is another word for the number 0. So it stands for the sizing system for seed beads, 8/0, 11/0, 6/0, etc. You can also replace this phrasing with "Size 8, Size 11, Size 6, etc." I hope this helps!
