Loving these videos about study/life in Xiamen. I've been accepted to study there for a year as part of the foreign exchange programme at University. I'm not going until next September but I can't wait now, it looks absolutely beautiful there! 😍

That sounds familiar alright 😅I'm currently going through the process of applying for a scholarship so I'm a bit all over the place at the moment trying to get all my documents together. Can I ask actually if you ended up keeping your dorm room or moving off campus? Luckily I'm going with another girl from college so we can hopefully share a room, but ideally we'd rather get an apartment together instead for a bit more space and privacy... but I'm not sure if that would be allowed 🤔
Hey, my roommate ended up living outside campus so I lucked out and got the room to myself. Siming is the main campus that everyone talks about and is located on Xiamen island. Xiang'An is located off the island about 1 hours drive. I believe if you are studying Chinese you will be at Xiang'An like me. It's good you have a friend coming, the dorms are very basic and many people opted to move off campus. There are some good apartments though very close to campus located in "东门" I don't think it's that difficult to do. Good luck with it all!

These are great videos. I can't wait until I go to xiemen. I wish I spoke the language. I only kniw a few words and phases. It's very hard for an old fart like me to lurn.😂😂😂
I'm glad :) it's a great city she'll love it. I did have some culture shock in the beginning coming from a western country but keep an open mind and it will be a rewarding experience for sure
