As far as I know, leaves are never boiled, let alone for thirty minutes. For medicinal benefits of herb leaves, a ratio of 1/3 plant material to 2/3 water. Pour hot almost boiling water over and steep 15 minutes at most.😊

Thanks for the facts!! Although you shouldn’t boil your tea, excessive heat can break down nutrients. Just use very hot water and steep
