I’m glad our coaches didn’t showcase the starting units for both offense and defense. I liked the glimpse of this team. I have a feeling this season will be special for us. Hopefully we win the NATTY. Coach Lanning and the coaching staff have done a tremendous job recruiting and bringing in players from the portal. I’m so excited for this group this year. GO DUCKS 🦆
The secondary was lock down all day. There's a reason it looked tough for the boys to get open . It's gunna be a fun year
Those dbs are playing against the best wr core in cfb too. Iron sharpens iron
And the D-Line looked fierce against 80% of a Joe Moore award nominated O-Line, there’s so much damn talent I just hope they put it together
Excited for this season! #GoDucks
Injuries aside, liked how the spring game was mostly just a fun scrimmage. Let the guys just freelance to an extent, mix up the depth strings to see how perhaps different players play in combinations that might not normally occur, try not to show anything you’ll actually use in the regular season.
Hate seeing Manning and Holden and Dickey and Savage and others get dinged, but it’s football, not a pillow fight, so it’s going to happen. Fingers crossed none of it lingers.
Lastly I really hope the environment resonated with the recruits, the final step the to Ducks ascension will be getting 5*s from a state other than California, and that probably only happens if they can with the B1G and get to, if not win, a Natty.
Perfectly worded
So much sleeping on Austin Novosad, he played very well in the Spring game and is comfortable with the playbook.
I'd argue 2 players we didn't want to lose to the portal but unfortunately did were Cole Martin to ASU and Dante Dowdell to Nebraska. 2 guys with big upside, however we are super deep at both rb and corner so I get it. Anyone else see Dowdell's 50 yard td run in Nebraska's spring game?
Dowdell wasn’t as big a deal because of the depth but Martin was tough, he’s never been hurt and looked really good. I have high hopes for Florence but just like Dickey, he’s got to be available to be effective.
Any news on the injured players I hope they are ok
💚💛🦆🦆
That Covid year stunk for Oregon because 4 key players opted out. Penei Sewell, and DBs Javon Holland, Thomas Graham, and Brady Breeze.
Travis Dye was a hard portal loss. Trey Benson, Donte Thornton, Donte Dowdell were also tough losses.
Good call out with Trey Benson. Guy's gonna be a monster in the NFL. Looked like an athletic freak at the combine.
Travis Dye was hard just because where he went, you never want to have anyone go to the Damn Trojans.
Benson I would concur, but mostly just because of how well he developed. But Bucky was just as good as him for Oregon, so there’s only so many chairs available.
Dye was an average player..lol
@@Donnachaidh07 he was a team leader and ran hard. Better than average, but clearly not an NFL guy.
Kingsley Suamatia
Untill that offense goes against BIA! GO BUCKS
Can’t wait for another season of hype get shut down with another loss or two at the end of the year. And then ducks still touting as if they had the best team when they’re watching the championship game from their couch lmao.
Clown
Yeah, Bo Nix was great, but the chokes against Washington were epic
