Thanks this video has actually made me a lot more confident in putting my vote behind Legendary Byleth (M).
No offense to fedelgard fans, but I'm gonna be teaming against her in a hero rises. She brings down the banner numbers and the value of green seasonals/legends/mythics is too good to pass up. I'm hoping Thorr wins/makes top 4 but fedel losing means we get better greens and fodders on the banner as a whole. (Also it might make IS realize they shouldnt make just good green units in a single year lol).
yeah, honestly, if thorr doesn't make top 8 I might just pick whoever goes up against Edelgard for voting gauntlets to help keeping her out for everyone's sake
more like full offense. seriously she’s been on so many banners (two which have been sparkable) and she’s in the regular pool. the one time we can make special and legendary/mythic units easier to get and sparkable (for those who don’t have feh pass) is the time we should be taking full advantage. so in short screw the fedel fans

People will never listen to you of you act like a condesending a-hole that believes that knows better. In fact, it will do the exact opposite.
I own a 40+3 F!Edelgard, and honestly i agree she has appeared tons of times. I don’t understand why people are voting for her when she’s technically easy to get while the others are not. People are seriously gonna waste a free copy on a unit that we can get easily.
And technically i kinda just proved my point i literally got a +3 Merge. That shows how many times she’s been on banners or how easy she is to get.

I just wanted a chance to spark Thorr since she has so much value for me but since she's in 10th place that might not happen. Seems like I'll have to burn 3 month's worth of orbs to get a single copy of her, wish me luck I guess.

I think she's only so "low" because she hasn't been tapped too much, so you have to scroll pretty far down and see a lot of other good heroes on the way down. Been voting for her since I saw the interim results, she should definitely get in.

I wish everyone would watch this, but chances are those who do are also not the individuals throwing votes at F!Edelgard. Such potential for the banner, but I am somewhat torn by the current hero fest. Pulled a bunch of L!Dimitri with free tickets, tempted to finish him, but I was trying to save to N!Corrin.
Byleth, Eitri, Corrin and Dagr in the same banner is my Dream ❤️, i have 3106 orbs for this 🙌🏻 (+ what i can get until the banner)

Matchups will be Edelgard vs Dagr, Corrin vs Elimine, Sigurd vs Byleth (hard fight), Eitri vs Azura. Last year the banner was exactly what i want so im finger cross for this one, Byleth and Eitri my priority 🙌🏻

Thank you for another amazing video about summoning. These are super informative and convey the conclusions of a lot of math very well. I hope more people can see this regardless of what unit they want to win AHR so they can make better decisions with their orbs.
I think the value of legendary banners is being underestimated. Sure, to +10 a hero it costs the most orbs, but you do get 3 heroes to +10 (or close to, unless you get very unlucky). You do need to wait a while and save for the right banner, but given that it takes so long to save the orbs, it's not so hard to wait for a good banner (for example, eitri+thorr+dagr that we had before Christmas).
Assuming we get e.g. 3 green legendaries on AHR, you'll save 15% on your orbs as in the video to get those 3 (and ofc they will be the better legendary/mythic units).
On the other hand, what if you got 3 green duo units? The cost to get 1 of them to +10 is the same...but now you get ~3 times more value. Compared to picking up 3 duo units on individual banners, your orbs cost is reduced by ~67%, and they're useful in more game modes (especially summoner duels).
That said, I'm good as long as you're voting green, though I do have a soft spot for DuoDagr

This is a long comment. I have a lot to say after watching the whole video.
Looking at these interim results, we’ve definitely gotten plenty of Green units that are impactful by character/or potential like Ninja Corrin, Enlightened Male Byleth, and Duo Dagr. The others are pretty obvious why they are in the top 8. Elimine counters anima season super hard, Legendary Sigurd’s movement shenanigans are extremely scary, and Hegemon (Fallen) Edelgard is….Hegemon Edelgard.
I’m hoping at least Eitri reaches top 4 (since I’ve voted all on her right now), but additional greens like Ninja Corrin or even Duo Dagr would make the 5 star rates be even better despite the risks of not getting who you want specifically. I even wouldn’t mind Legendary Sigurd joining the party even if he’s the only red in the top rankings (that astounds me still, but I don’t mind because I really like Sigurd).

Throughout this video, I was laughing at how hilariously bad Fallen Edelgard would actually be on the banner being the only colorless on her rates. She would hurt herself despite being this popular, how ironic.
I don’t care whether Fallen Edelgard is on the banner or not, but I would be more accepting of Fallen Edelgard if Elimine (or even Claude) shares with her.
No matter what happens, seeing as how great both of my accounts got after summoning on the AHR banner last year, I’m going to summon on AHR 2022 regardless because these banners are the best opportunities to get these units without much hassle.

On Eitri and Thorr's debut mythic banner I spent 700 orbs and I didn't get a single copy of Thorr nor Dagr who I had been aiming before (only got 3 Eitris as well and other 5* for when green didn't show up). If we add the other mythic banners I tried Dagr it was a total of 1400 orbs and not a single copy of Dagr. Idc what anyone says now, I'll still keep voting for Thorr. Eitri even showed up now, Thorr's return takes too long and Elimine is just not essential at all. Ofc, can't expect anything both from lady luck and other people reasons.
yeah, the worst part is that thorr's next rerun is really not tempting. Byleth is... fine... and Hel is worthless at this point
Elimine isn't even all that valuable since most defenses will change to counter her either way, so Catria balls and the like will start to disappear which means that even those without Elimine will start to have an easier time.
Ouch, if it helps you can have some of my copies of Dagr...I pulled 19 copies on Thorr's banner with ~2300 orbs (but didn't finish eitri)

Jokes aside, with how volatile actual Voting Gauntlets are I don't have a lot of hope for full green banner but I'm cautiously hoping for something decent at the end of it all (assuming I even have orbs left to spare given how much the current Hero Fest is coming after my life)
I'm trying to go for Ninjorrin or Hatari Azura (as L!M!Byle, Ewtri, Thorr and Duo Dagr are alrdy in my barracks) Ninjorrin is a great PP option, while Hatari Azura has undeniable potential in being the best refresher in the game.

What really surprised me: last year, the 2nd seed (Ninja Lyn) won the entire thing. This year, the 2nd seed (Fallen Edelgard) was eliminated first round. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm super happy she lost when she can still be summoned on the A Hero Rises banner without being a focus. And, both Thórr and Hatari Azura gave Ninja Corrin a run for her money, more so Thórr, who lost by a super slim margin, while Hatari Azura, who though while leading going into the final hour, lost by over 4 billion.
Also the fact that fallen e is going to win just puts the finger up to the whales who have already plus 10 or have multiple plus ten of those. Personally I would like accssend Fjorm cause of armour save and hardly fighter skill which I need the most.

Tbh I am still scared abut this idea, since fir example there is the posibility of no green orbs appearing at all, and all the other colors being useless seems really strange, but this video makes the idea less scary and a waste of my time, even appealing, but i guess we will never know until it happens
I love the F!Edelgard prerogative that we have currently. Its almost like we run the government of feh. I also love how there is absolutely ZERO discontent for Claude’s inclusion on the banner. In fact I wouldn’t be upset whatsoever if he won the gauntlet. His fodder and B skill are still the stuff of legend(ary). Anywho I was fortunate to summon a few Karla’s so if we get a copy of him I will fodder odd temptest to him.

I saved up a bunch of orbs for this banner but with how the top 4 is looking It’s def gonna be a skip I already have all the units in the top 5 and I I don’t have enough orbs to go for any crazy high merges and they all work pretty well without merges
As weird as it might sound, I'm not sure how beneficial such a good banner be for most players, specially F2Players that haven't spent their entire year hoarding orbs just for this (Realistically it's not a good idea at all given that you need to summon for legendaries every now and then to keep up with the score and that whatever we get in this banner is entirely dependant on what we get across the year).
Something like a banner that has NY!Dagr and 3 other greens might seem very good on the surface, but I can't stop thinking on how it would affect scoring. Whales can easly go to get her multiple times to +10 rising the score you need compared to now enough for a good amount of players to no be able to stay in T21.
Elimine is my other big concern currently using her is pretty much a free win unless the super whaled defense team with insane nukes has a chance at breaking the save ball, wich most of the time results into a team easier to Galeforce anyways. The problem with the free win is very simple, if your defense team doesn't win and your mythic merges aren't great, you are demoting like it or not, the ones that have a chance at winning are whales that face people that honestly got carried by their team and don't really know what they are doing. Right now AR-O is very easy, and I think that everyone sees that so making it easier, driving the score to essentially mythic merges, it's not something beneficial, at least that's how I see it.
If we get Legendary or Harmonized heroes, I'm fine with it since it won't affect the game too much, and if we get regular pool units then the game won't change at all. Getting super high scoring units or something like Elimine does hurt anyone that hasn't saved +1k orbs just for this.
If you ask be who I think the winner should be, honestly I don't care at all, but I do see how 1 copy or 2 of B!Catria or H!Azura, while not making any huge impact, it would be beneficial for eveyone, Catria because she is kinda the only unit that can make F2P friendly AR-D comps succed (until Elimine, that is) even if they are weak to Hit and run/Galeforce, and Azura is just a good dancer that's valuable for almost anyone and has a strong place in both AR-O (specially Galeforce comps) and AR-D.
Good luck to everyone on their summons and please remember this is just a mobile game, if F!Edel wins it's not the end of the world.

Deine Rechnung ist echt gut aber am billigsten ist es immer ein Spark plus gratis. Deswegen finde ich Edelgard besser und günstig. Legendär und doppel Units sind immer noch richtig teuer als +10 auch mit 1600 Orbs. Turnier ist schon vorbei aber es bringt gar nichts mit eine copie von die legendären wenn Arena brauchst du bestimmt +10. Allerdings sin die neue Units richtig Krass seit Chrom und ich finde alle dieser kann nichts dagegen.
An all Green banner would be awsome.
I do not want to sound mean to people who vote for F!Edelgard, but holy shit she had a banner with spark 2 times! And it's the fallen heroes banner, which has good fodder and is worth to summon on even with full circles! Why have her in AHR too?
My tiny brain is grateful for this explanation. Is been like 3 years and Edelgard still can't have good fodder, to me is the worst part. So yeah, for a certain unit sucks, I wanted Dimi last year and I ended up getting 6 Seiros and only one Dimitri just because of the spark.
Better to get 6 seiros than 6 random blue units from the common pool.

The only caveat I would give to the entire banner being green is, rip those people who are unfortunate enough to not get any green orbs on their summoning circles (which we all know will happen to many of us along the way). In saying that, it seems like the colour distribution has been much better, even for smaller summoning sessions recently, but that point is still the biggest unknown for us when summoning.
GL to everyone going in on the AHR banner, as for me, I doubt I will go for it. I have all the possible units already, including far too many eitri who refused to leave me alone in both L/M banners she has been on so far (I got 8 of her going for +10 thorr and another 7 of her from elemines banner trying to finish my Fjorm). I may throw a few orbs at Harari Azura if she makes the banner, but will likely just go for the Valentine's banner then save for potential bride palla or summer units/brave tiki or the possibility of scarlet being brought into feh this year (she is the second highest voted character from fates that's not in feh yet and was just outside the top 100 at 103 so is looking super likely if we get a fates new heroes banner).

But I don't get why are normal pool units getting less chance than focus banners? Whats the reason for that, and why are different type of units getting different chances on the same banner, don't they share the same rate? I dont get ti
He's specifically comparing F!Edel's AHR rates to a 3-person focus banner, which only normal pool units are eligible for. (For ex., F!Edel was recently featured on a 3-person Bonfire banner.) You are right that the AHR banner with no color-sharing has exactly equivalent odds to a typical 4-person New Heroes banner. However, 3-person banners are *significantly* better for collecting merges of a single unit. (Roughly, 3% focus/3 units = 1% chance per unit. 3%focus/4 units = 0.75% chance per unit).
For legendaries and seasonals, those numbers are comparing their rates to their own typical banners. You're right that the expected orbs taken to summon Ninjorrin or Thorr is both 111 orbs on the AHR banner, but 111 orbs offers different value relative to their own banners.
@@wisteriandraws367 ohhh now I get it. Thanks for the explanation, now I'm planning on trying to +10 all the 4 units now that I saw that it can be done in a 75% with 2500 orbs. I'll use all my f2p story orbs so I'm still deciding. Do you think it's a good idea? I think it's great value since it's thórr for AR and byleth for arena, and then there's Corrin and Azura that I can use in plenty of modes and also happen to be really strong units and two of my favourites. So what do you think? Should I pull or are there better banners?

@@wisteriandraws367 @Wisterian Draws lol something like that, the thing is that I had like a year and a half without playing but before that I never did any chain challenge or the assaults so I count how many orbs can I get and ill have like 1700 in total. And back when I was playing I never had a goal or some plan on what I wanted to do so I never started any legendary/mythic project, I was just summoning like crazy and wasting orbs, but i always saved the story orbs just for moments like this. So now I want to focus on AR mostly and having merge projects and not just playing without any goal. so yeaah it's time to go wild on this banner!
@@leonardochacin8129 wow, it’s also a crazy value too because Azura can use their harmonic skill on Corrin since they’re both fates units, so they can get an extra +4/4 atk/spd and yet another refresh on top of the duo skill and dance.

An all green banner is a fever dream but unfortunately...thanks to Fedel fans(no offense to them personally), it becomes a nonexistent dream lol. VG are so inconsistent that anything can happen. But here's hoping a possible all green banner does happen.

Fallen Edel... People are voting in a weird way. I have her at plus one. I hate using her (unpopular opinion). Standing at 1,3k HM.
I also dislike using her, so I only use her when I just want to clear out something without bothering, but that almost never happens so she only is used on the last day of Tempest Trials+ events most of the time
I like to use her before... but long ago i healed my neurons with the act of stop using her, and made the game more entertainin
@@M0D776 in my case, i stopped using her in EVERY mode, dont use her in tt, nor chain challenges, nor battles, nor AR (even in defence).
She's either boring to use or not an automatic win like many believe. She has too many counters at this point.
The only place where I can see her truly shine is in Beast Galeforce teams since she has 3 actions instead of 2.
@@bloodshadow6965 I don't even use her that much in TT+, as I normally also finish the event as soon as I can, so even then F!Edel doesn't have much use to me.
Counterpoint: F.Edelgard has proven to be a very smart investment to +10 if you played the long game. Two possible sparks, the skill focus, and now the possibility of a third spark and maybe even a freebie. Turns out betting on the popular unit is rational if your goal is to +10.
I didn't make that bet, but I don't begrudge the people who did and are lowering the total cost of their merge project through their votes.
I guess this is a scenario of own good versus greater good, and I guess as a content creator it's easier for me to strive for the latter as a good gaming experience overall results in more engagement for me later 😅
I respect the work you've done, but... these average numbers don't represent reality for one person. The community is not one organism with common barracks, and these +0.5% or even 1% increase in the rate is good for a huge distance of at least hundreds, and preferably thousands of summoning sessions and this is easy for the community as a whole, but almost imposible for one specific player (because everyone cares about personal gain and not replenishment other people's barracks) so I think that a spark is ALWAYS better than even a couple of % of the rate for an individual. Unless you have money for a million orbs to feel these few % of the rate at a distance.
I can see that point. In any case, this is true for all 3 unit types, so pool units are still the worst in this regard, but as I said at the end, all of that doesn't matter if you don't like the unit behind it. I guess this is a scenario of own good versus greater good, and I guess as a content creator it's easier for me to strive for the latter as a good gaming experience overall results in more engagement for me later 😅

Well, every unit has had it's counters, and it's not like Thorr didn't have counters before. She can't kill svallin shield Edelgards or Gustav's for example, the first even killing her on retaliation. But a) not everyone runs them and not everyone will run lucina, b) you still have 5 teams and she can likely be easily snatched by bravetome mages of they rip through the safe tank, which they will, and c) bolt tower 😎
F!Edelgard is the most boring unit to deal with , like it is not a good idea in AHR for f2p or p2w, she is avalabile in the regular summonig pool , I do not mind if any unit wins other than her

Jump to the last graphic at the end. Significantly more expensive to +10 a normal pool, minimally more expensive to +10 a seasonal, much cheaper to +10 a legendary/mythic.
@@wisteriandraws367 it wasnt I just made it before I watched it since I was busy at the time. However it's still more expensive to spark since it's not 155 orbs anymore which is what I was trying to ask itll tough as a F2P to get enough to go beyond a possible +3 from 0 😅
