But that hasn't happened, showing me they've learned nothing. It's a lost cause there. As to War of the Rohirrim, sigh. I dunno. Philipa Boyens, the head of the project, has taken some heat about this being another woke interpretation of Tolkien as the story focuses on Helm's unknown/unnamed daughter. Her quote, and I'm going on memory here, "They all died! Helm, his sons, they all died so his daughter was the only one we could tell the story from." Um. But those of us familiar with the appendices know that's utter bull. Helm's nephew, Fréaláf Hildeson on his sister’s side, WHO IS NAMED (as opposed to the weird greek name they've given to Helm's daughter... Hera??), successfully executed an attack to regain Edoras. And it was that nephew, Fréaláf Hildeson, who killed the Dunlending leader, Wulf, and persuaded Gondor to aid him as he lead the Rohirrim to drive Dunlendings back across the River Isen. Then, Fréaláf and his men successfully blockaded Isengard into surrender. It was Fréaláf who was named king of Rohirrim. So why not make HIM the main protagonist of the story? And I don’t get how Boyens came up with the name “Hera”. It’s a Greek name! And Tolkien was inspired by Anglo-Saxon culture when he wrote these stories and as a linguist; he chose all of his words and names with great care to make Middle-earth feel like a real, cohesive place. Boyens should KNOW better! At the end of the day, my hope is that the story is told through Hera (stupid name... god I hope they change that) witnessing Fréaláf’s actions. and ok, she fights by his side. That's fine. Because in today's cinema we can't have women and children hiding away while men fight against pseudo capable bad-guys.
I guess we will know everything about RoP S2 by watching its 1st episode. I am expecting a disaster. On the other side, by following the news of WotR, I am enthusiastic and expecting a masterpiece.
I never watch reviews of ROP anymore. ROP is manifestly not Tolkien, not Middle-earth, and is nothing more than another feminist attack on Tolkien fans. Any review that treats it being somehow Tolkien related gets a major blot on their reputation as far as I am concerned.
Not interested in ROP s2 at all, let it burn in Hell. I hope the War of the Rohirrim is good. But the thing that I would like the most is a new good LOTR game. I would like a new BFME like game. If someone would like to make a new BFME game or at least a remake or remaster of the first two.
I'm kinda tired of all these series/movies/games with titles/subtitles "The Lord of The Rings3. I mean, LOTR technically refers to a very specific story told in the late Third Age. A show/game taking place before or after that and telling a different story should NEVER be called "The Lord of the Rings", no matter how good it might be.
Isn't Game of Thrones just the first book of the Song of Ice and Fire saga? It's the same phenomenon, the title is memorable and for non die hard fans like us, it will mostly evoke images of the PJ films. It's marketing pure and simple
Hmm Return to Moria, being well received, ah, yeah, sure, if you like the Current Thing then yeah sure I guess you call it a "good game" but I don't, so it sucks.
I have amazon prime and yet I only watched the first 2 episodes and that was enough as they ruined it too much. TLOTR/The Hobbit, Silmarillion, etc., are my favorite reading of all time and yet, there was NO WAY I could keep watching that mess of a series.
I much prefer Rings of Power to any of The Hobbit movies. Both take creative liberties but I do enjoy a lot of the cast in RoP that aren't Galadriel or the harfoots.

By the way, I don't know what any of this has to do with Tolkien by the way, see how you like the idea of Lord of the Rings, but not actually liking Lord of the Rings itself? Because in today's cinema we can't have women and children hiding away while men fight against pseudo capable bad-guys.
I guess we will know everything about RoP S2 by watching its 1st episode. I am expecting a disaster. On the other side, by following the news of WotR, I am enthusiastic and expecting a masterpiece.
Can we all just consider the rings of power for the flatulence that they are and ignore them when it comes to LOTR lore.
Oh ENOUGH with the animated adaptations already...
They’re actually gonna continue this!? I thought this was a failed experiment
I guess the show got enough hatewatchers to warrant a second season 👌
I never watch reviews of ROP anymore. ROP is manifestly not Tolkien, not Middle-earth, and is nothing more than another feminist attack on Tolkien fans. Any review that treats it being somehow Tolkien related gets a major blot on their reputation as far as I am concerned.
I don’t think Amazon listened to the criticism, because they deleted all the bad reviews/criticism hahahahaha
I wasn't aware the War of the Rohirrim was going to be an anime. I'm not a fan of anime, so that is very disappointing to me.
No ... this isn't LOTR ...
Evil can only copy, not create.
Really wish they had started from the Silmarillion rather than the rubbish that was Rings of Power.
Rings of power season 2 will be a disaster
Hmm Return to Moria, being well received, ah, yeah, sure, if you like the Current Thing then yeah sure I guess you call it a "good game" but I don't, so it sucks.
I have amazon prime and yet I only watched the first 2 episodes and that was enough as they ruined it too much. TLOTR/The Hobbit, Silmarillion, etc., are my favorite reading of all time and yet, there was NO WAY I could keep watching that mess of a series.
Rings of power was a bit dissapointing . Nothing will ever match the movies
Rings of Power season 2 looks like it’s gonna make the same mistakes season 1 made so I have no faith in that show
Nah they need to stop
Rangs of power is dogshit
Just let tolkien and his world rest in peace now, lord of the rings universe is dead already
Still haven’t seen rings of power is it even worth it
I did not watch season 1 of Amazon's crap, and I will not be watching season 2
I much prefer Rings of Power to any of The Hobbit movies. Both take creative liberties but I do enjoy a lot of the cast in RoP that aren't Galadriel or the harfoots.
Rings of power must die.
Really just needed a straight up list as per the video title.. not a 1 minute worthless moan about your feelings about season 1 rings of power... That show has reveived way too much unwarranted negative feedback and it needs to stop.
Rings of power is an abomination
I am looking forward to the Helm Hammerhand Film.War of the Rohirrim is interesting. I follow Harry in fellowship of fans. Rings of power will be the same
I will not watch rings of powerand I am too old for Video Games.
More like Shit of Power.
1st!
I think you were second 😅
Ok look fam, yes ROP was/is a mess. But can we not pretend like nothing of it was interesting or fun or impressive? It's not the talents' fault that the powers that be fudged around with too many things. There's a few pebbles of gold even in that muddy river.
So let's show a little respect, ey?
By the way, I don't know what any of this has to do with Tolkien by the way, see how you like the idea of Lord of the Rings, but not actually liking Lord of the Rings itself? This, this crap isn't Lord of the Rings, it looks nothing like Lord of the Rings. I get why they pay you to advertise this shit, but just be honest. be honest with your audience, and be honest to yourself.
