Look at carbon deposits in limestone, geological records of co2 and temperature levels( not directly correlated) in our world's 4.5 billion(!) Year history. Then ask a botanist: At what lowest co2 level is plantlife still sustainable? Then ask an astronomer about space weather, planetary warming in our solar system and solar activity records. Now connect the dots and you might find a sensible answer to your question: "who would dislike this video?"

It has destroyed the economy via killing competition by putting 'kings of the hill' corporations in place of mom & pop shops. It is polluting the air, land, and oceans by the dumping the insurmountable waste that capitalism creates. Amazon is burning because of lust for money too.
This is very similar to the gun argument that guns dont kill people, but when we regulate or ban guns, the killings decrease substantially. I say in the same way we need to ban the access to guns, so too should be ban money.
Proof of my claim? Fundamentally, for the longest duration of our human existence, we had no monetary system, compared to a mere blip of our Evolutionary background showing the usage of money, and the whole world is in free-fall decline in cut-throat societies everywhere we look.

If we think together as mankind, limit our pp CO2, stop the greed of corporate, focus together to invent renewable energy and elect those political leaders in power, we can save the mother earth. Being an Indian I feel ashamed that my Govt is not so thoughtful like Bhutan's. If every President or Prime minister of all the countries of the world come together and think plus act like the Bhutan, then will change be brought together.

Being a big nation we have to cator to greater need and thus we cannot be like them. We're a country of just 60 years of freedom and still are in developing phase. And we do our best. India is moving towards the renewable energy sources very fast. From biggest solar energy plant to 2nd largest DAM in the world. Plus we have the greatest reforestation percentage.
The countries from EU and America should be the one to do more of these things cause they're fully developed.

What about these climatologists with about 40 years of experience saying our climate, droughts, floods, hurricanes etc. was way worse in 1950, and even worse in 1930, but the current stats go only back to 1960.

  • @trancendedsoul

We can not stop climate change. The only constant in Earth's history and life itself is change.
Reforestation is a great idea. Building new forests is a great idea. I would note that ice/mud cores dating back over 600,000 years shows carbon is not the biggest issue. Even Dinosaurs had more carbon yet lived in a green world. There is a natural cycle that takes place involving the sun and the grand solar cycle of around 25,000 years. Even global disasters that caused the climate to change rapidly and violently occur fairly often, long before people were ever an issue.
Bottom line. We can maybe hold it off, but we cannot illuminate it. Desalinization of ocean water on a massive scale is likely the best way to keep water supplies stable. If we blocked out the sun, less plants would grow. More carbon would build up as a result of slower plant growth. Destroying the meat supply would only ruin the natural fertilizer supply furthering this crisis.
The real solution is advancing technology that accepts the inevitability of climate change. Historically we are at a very low carbon point in the last several million years. What is unnatural is thinking this brief window we live in is something we will be able to hold onto forever.
Lots of love for Bhutan and all its doing. It's doubtful it will ever be enough though. They are making better choice than our greedy and power-hungry leaders ever will. Freedom to farm and raise your animals is essential.

    We Indians want it to
    But the problem is
    We have a good gdp
If we stop it all of it cars , factories ,bikes ,trucks , trains
Ee can also be carbon neutral
But then people will lose jobs
Then they will not earn money
How will they buy things like food , home , land ,dress.
If we have low gdp and somehow have the tribes to help us with food
We have political enemies like xhina , who will use their military to take over us and do the same thing we are doing now
    Basically we have bad luck
    Either save ur people
    Or save the other people
    Both can't be done simultaneously
    It's like
Either lose father or whole family

All countries must work together now to prevent the planet from getting warmer. We all have to work together, all governments, all citizens, we all have to protect our climate, our environment, and our planet. We have to do everything in our power to prevent disasters caused by global warming from happening. We must save and protect our planet which is also our home. There is no planet B.
