It’s a interesting solo because of the dynamic ups and downs. But man, that ride cymbal he’s anchored to sounds nasty. Not good. I really dig his playing on songs. Here I feel like his velocity gets away from him a bit. He’s obviously a very technical rock player. There’s something about the powerful dexterity of his double kick playing that reminds me of Bozzio. It’s a fun solo. Thanks for posting. RIP Richie.
