What is the point of those rough in mini-split boxes when the copper doesn’t line up right when you go to install the head? I’ve seen guys have to go and put those RLS couplings on there and just cut out the flare joints. Just curious. Can they be installed where you can just use the fare joints with some proper planning?

But nice clean work. In New Jersey we have to hard pipe or flex every return. We can’t draw bays or have any wood. Every job has to have load calcs. Duct test for leakage. We got to be painters on top of every other thing we Hvac guys do. Mastic all connections even flex to boot. Miss how we did 30 years ago. Lucky if we taped a joint

Looks good. I would shorten and throw some 90's on them exterior condensate lines. There are gonna get knocked at some point.👍

Hey Taddy, I love your Videos. I also Have an HMH7 4 ton unit Installed with two Zones. I am curious to know why did you Wwre the thermostate for HMH7 Y and Y2? HMH7 is a modulating unit and it does not have a 2 stage it have several stages and the out side unit (HMH7) controlles the stages depending on the call? Can you please Explain. Also in your other videos you have not wired the thermosates for HMH7 the way you did it in this video.

Do you angle your 3 way supply grilles toward in our out of home??? It looked like they were feeding inward I’ve always done the opposite is there a reason for that?

Great job. Spiral pipe always look great. Could not tell if spiral or regular round pipe. But looks good. I always do returns in every room but kitchen, closet, bathroom. But I get it. Whatever in the budget. Hate when people say negative shit about a job on RUclips without knowing budget.

In this install, you wired the thermostat differently than you did in your previous video for the MHM7 just wondering why?

Props to you on making another great video. Great demo. Does your two ton mini split have a greater capacity than 24k? Because 9k plus 18k is 27k and usually id have my indoor units equal outdoor capacity or less...

Recently watched the shoptalk show and learned that you have dedicated training videos. I swear ima hit that join button sooner than later lol. @@TaddyDigest I've never seen the units set like that, in a closet like that we box in the bottom section of the closet 32-34 inches high and set unit on top, using the bottom for return... and frame like you did for return grill.
