I LOVE THIS ANIME AND THIS SONG, and that's really all you need to know, haha. Mikasa Ackerman is such a well-written character, and I'm really glad the show's ending song and sequence work so well for her story! Yoko Hikasa is fab.
While it's not completely exact, I did my best to stay true to the original's meaning when writing these lyrics, so I hope they sound nice and stay true to the soul of the song! Also, many, many thanks to my awesome friend Travis Ball for mixing this track for me! We worked hard on this one for you, so I hope you enjoy this version. :) x

Its been almost 11 years already since this "English cover" came out
So this is Mikasa's theme. I'm guessing Guren No Yuimya is Erens theme and Jiyuu no Tsubasa is Levi's theme.....so when is Armin going to get a theme?
I'm guessing one of the openings for season 2 is going to be Armins theme. So is the song Reluctant Heroes a characters theme? Or does it represent the whole Scouting Legion?

Yes,Reluctant Heroes is Levi's theme,I think Jiyuu no Tsubasa is for all the Survey Corps 'cause they are talking about the symbol: "the wings of freedom"

I’m pretty sure the author gave all the songwriters notes on some of the future plot twists, because way too many songs in this series have incredible amounts of foreshadowing!
Having re-watched Attack on Titan again I'm starting to get why Mikasa is such a great character, she's someone who's given up on people in life making the world a better place, but not that the world can't hold beauty for those that hold good in their heart.

Started watching this Anime about 3 days ago. I'm on the latest episode which is 18 and I'm absolutely in love with the Anime. By the way Adri, absolutely amazing work! Your voice sounds beautiful. You manage to go from calm to more tense portions of the song really well.
The backing vocals make the song even better. I didn't really notice it until I'd heard the song quite a few times. But with more singing experience myself I notice thiese things quicker now, and understand better how it adds to the final product. It definitely does!

Constructive criticism can be helpful sometimes, because sometimes people want to improve but they don't really know how, so people pointing out flaws in their work can help them to get better. That being said, people often use the label of constructive criticism as an excuse to simply be mean and insulting. I think that even if you're criticising, you should make an effort to be polite.
