I absolutely luv your little girl quilt! Thank you for sharing your story with us. I have several quilts that my paternal grandmother made for me as a little girl and I'm in my 50's. She also made one for each one of my 2 girls when they were born. Now that she has passed i am more grateful to have them. She lived to be 104! 🎉

I think both quilts are beautiful. I also think that most husband's just want their wife to be happy. So I'm sure your husband will love the quilts. Your childhood quilt looks similar to mine. My great grandma always called the little girls sunbonnet Sue. My is done in mint green and yellow with a matching throw pillow. I treasure it. Loved your haul too.
Great haul. I love Ross...I haven't been there since November. Both bedspreads are beautiful I especially love the scallop purple one. Purple is my favorite color too. The pillows are gorgeous. I need to go to Ross 😁

I’m 81 and agree with your family about the purple, not that it isn’t pretty but the other choice is a better choice in my opinion,it looks like something in a magazine. My son once told me years ago my bedroom looked like a grandma’s room. So when it was time for me to get new living room furniture I had my daughter in law help me pick out young furniture and almost twenty years later I get compliments on it.

I’m going to have to take a trip to Ross tomorrow. Love the brown bunny. I love the purple comforter. It does look “old” but I love that. You could use the yellow pillows with that as well. I’m sure whatever you do will be gorgeous!
I am all about those beautiful purple flowers!! Gorgeous!! My grandmother made so many quilts in her lifetime that we all ended up with at least 3 quilts a piece!! My little girl one is sealed in a bag because it was disinigrating from so much love!! 💜 I hope you enjoy whichever one you choose or just rotate them out every couple of weeks and then all you have to do is choose which one you use first! My granny Ruth crochet a pink and white blanket for me and I still have it! I will never part with it! I am 56 I'm not sure what age I was when she made it but I remember her asking me what colors I wanted and I remember watching the progress as she crochet it.

The both comforters are beautiful I like the yellow with the daisies though I'm a flower girl too in my husband's Grandma Missouri made him comforters too and I have 1 in 1 of our beds and when she passed we went in her cellar and she had 3 wheelbarrows with handmaid quilts

I love the blue flowers and daisy quilt and the yellow eyelet pillows. I also think the purple flower quilt is pretty. It would be a hard choice for me. Maybe if you put them on your bed with the pillows the choice would be easier. ❤😊

I love the purple quilt. It doesn't look any more old than the daisy one. If you like it best, keep it. If the kids are the ones that think it is too old looking wait until they leave the nest and then use it. If it is your husband take him to Ross and see what he picks out!! I would always regret it if I didn't keep it. With that said the second choice looks nice, too. If you take it back I'm afraid every time you see that quilt in Ross it will make you sad. Sorry, just my opinion. The Easter haul is gorgeous. Good luck with the spray paint and please let us see it when you get it done. Think I better go check out Ross! TFS.

Oh how I wish that Ross was near me…great haul! At first I chose the purple quilt (which I think is very pretty) but seeing the daisy quilt with the yellow pillows, I like it better. Love it all! Diane from NJ❤❤❤

Hi Jennifer! I have a very very similar little girl quilt made by my grandma! I love it too. It is very special because my grandma went to heaven when my mom was only 3 months old, so my mom and I never got to know her.
By the way, thank you for the craft video on the Chistmas cocoa booths. I made 5 different versions of them! I sent you a picture of them on Instagram messages. Love your crafts! You rock!

Loved both of the bedspread sets, and although my fav color is blue I am really drawn to the other set, and I think those pillows would look nice with it too!
I love the purple quilted bedspread. It would go perfectly in my granddaughters bdeoom. I have a quilt that my husbands grandma made him when he was just a boy. It is about 70 years old and is getting getting a bit tattered so it went in the laundry closet. When ww redid our bedroom we painted it grey with white and dark grey trim. I wanted a neutral color so I can use different bedspreads. My husband found the most gorgeous bedspread with sham's and a couple of throw pillows and bedskirt at Ross and I think it was $75. I think we will go to Ross tomorrow. I liked the rug too. It will go perfectly in the kitchen.

That Dutch girl quilt you have my mom made one of those years and years ago not sure what happened to it 😢. She also had pillow cases to match. I loved your purple quilt and one on your bed gorgeous. I have 2 Ross stores pretty close to me I get about 90% of my cloths there. Along with lots of great buys. Yes on rugs 100% blankets all kinds stuff you never know what you will find there even if you go 3 times a week every time is different. Ty for sharing. God bless you and your family.
