  • Ali Bazzi and his brother Mo started out with the purchase of a Tesla and a belief that they need to be a part of this industry. Their idea: If the electric cars are coming, why not be the company where customers go to plug in.

FYI This is just Level 2 AC slow charging because it's cheap. Basically a fancy 240v plug with self problem solving safety breaker.
This is not a Level 3 DC Fast Charger which cost as much as premium car per stall.

Not a bad idea, down south they get you twice, once for the power once to park your car to charge. $6 bucks to charge, $32 to park while charging. I guess I’d rather own the parking spot

Good luck paying for that 5 Figure USD per Level 3 DC charger if you want more than $30 bucks for charging. Same price as a premium car. Massive barrier for entry.

@@Neojhuntrue but that’s not the point of electric cars anyways. Main idea is to have a home charger option which you can’t have with gas cars. Sure when you charge outside it will cost you same as premium cars but on the other hand most of the time you will charge at your home and that’s where you will start saving most of your money. That extra option to charge at home is what the best thing about ev. This should all go smoothly unless if our electric companies fail to produce enough electricity and charge you double which is already starting to happen. In that case solar panels are our only savior but even that still needs more competition in the market to be worth a while. All this is future thing we still need another 5-10 years to even consider making electric cars our daily driver.

We've heard this years ago about Bitcoin.. buy gold, Bitcoin doesn't have intrinsic value, etc. Look who've lost out on crypto. Electric cars appeals to the tech savvy. The same as the first iPhone and iPad. If it's not for you than it's not for you but there are many entrepreneurs making millions from the EV sector. Next big investments are AI and semiconductors.
Right now it's not just EV's, it's also ICE vehicles not being sold due to high interest rates and inflation. Don't take economic advice from people who can't tell a dime from a nickel. It'll cost you, just like back during the 2008 financial crisis.

@@Laszlo429 yes that doesn’t mean consumers want it. Electric vehicle is and will always be a phase. That is evident in the missed earnings and the failed electric vehicle companies. Not even Tesla has made a profit. Regulations will convert back to where it was when the government realizes electric vehicles are unsustainable. There is no market for them because the lack of convenience. They drain battery while you sleep, they drain even more in the cold, they become duds, in the city people can have teslas because the charging are in parking lots you have to pay for. You have to pay for valet (sometimes), parking, and then charging. Charging an electric vehicle is not cheaper than gas. Not to mention if you charge pass 80% you are charged a concession fee to fill up your vehicle to 100%. That is not only bogus but should be illegal. Charging so people can charge their vehicles is ridiculous. Not to mention the 1 plus hours you have to charge if your vehicle goes below 20%. Teslas aren’t made for the city. More like rural areas. Where people can charge over night in their homes. Sometimes you are in line for 1hr 30 just to charge your vehicle for another 1hr. If you think people are going to deal with that because legislation said so you are living in delusion. American people love their convenience and they will drop anything if it doesn’t accommodate them the way they want.
