Thank you! I'm a brain injury and coma survivor, and after listening to this, I feel so lucky to have all the struggles I have been dealing with. "This is what hard looks like."... and still doing it anyway with a broken brain.
Bro. SO MUCH VALUE. These guys have optimized my life SO much, I've been able to 10X my business, regrow my foreskin, and literally lose my virginity 3 times. Thank you so much.
This is one of the best conversations I’ve ever heard. There are so many nuggets of wisdom that I’m going to strive to live by. This definitely deserves a second and third listen.
Give, give and keep on giving. Its incredible what happens when you stop focusing on outcomes and instead prioritise the process of creation and contribution. Mature direction, more stable moods - one of the major lessons I’ve learned from Hormozi 🌲
Damn. You both have had such a positive influence on my life. You are my two boys. Hermozis advice took me from being a broke non-profit manager to an accountant and Amazon Business owner in 16 months. Chris podcasts shape my daily habits almost everytime i listen to them. You both are class humans.

Such a blessing that we live in a time where this amount of information is available for the masses and for FREE! So much value; literally a gold mine for the mind. Thank you Chris & thank you Alex!
Thanks Alex for helping me get started in the path I know I want to go down. And thanks Chris for always uploading high quality content and exploring every topic that interests you.
I almost didn't listen to this pod, expecting to roll my eyes at the bro stuff. But the content surprised, challenged, affirmed and taught me. Came away from it delighted and buzzing with ideas. Thanks to you and Alex for proving me wrong!
Just finished this episode.....Thank you for presenting this information man. Can't tell you how many times I cried listening.....been unknowingly seeking these answers for a looooooooong time. Thank you so fucking much. I will be digesting a lot more of your videos, and already picked up Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less
That quote about heroes being just talented at one thing normal people is how I felt all growing up. Me finding my niche and focusing deeper and deeper on it has been the growing key of my success.
Alex embodies much of what I strive to be as a man, to serve others, treat others as I would be treated, and to give to others not to get but as an expression of my energy, manliness, passion, creativity, and love.. I’ve come to believe that’s what a true man is
Alex was the first person I heard telling me it is okay to do one thing all day EVERY day. All the other people around said I should take some days off. Why? I love what I do.
The beginning of this interview was interesting as Alex appears to just have a lot of energy and for him that's probably a driving force to overcome obstacles. For people that are stuck where they are, I think a lot of them complain because it's simply easier to do that and live in the safety of their mediocrity versus having to put in continuous effort to improve your life. I've noticed that with a lot of people in life. They put in enough work/effort to get by, but not many people are willing to put in that extra 10% whether it benefits themselves or not. Both you guys know this and understand the hard work you have had to put in to achieve your goals. An while I'd argue we all gain personal success from this growth, it won't result in financial success for everyone.
I’ve listened to Alex on DOAC and I have to say I learnt so much more from your podcast Chris. Alex has so much knowledge/ wisdom to share and this conversation really showcased that.
I just took a big risk this morning before listening. And I was feeling good with my decision. The topic of risk adjusted return gave me the validation I needed. Also there’s someone out there that has had it worse and done it better and I’m going to catch up to them.
This is one of the best podcast episodes I’ve listened to. 1 hour in, (I rarely comment on videos). Talking about the fuel used to drive you forward is incredible, I got to about 10-20k per month in revenue, bought all the cool stuff I wanted to over compensate for stuff that happened when growing up & then I lost focus. Couple of years later & starting my business over again. Understanding how Alex thinks & listening to people way above you in the wealth ladder is awesome! Thanks guys!
I love how they’re just bouncing back and forth different peoples quotes, and then a short snippet of their opinion on it. It’s so funny it’s like they’re barely have any conversation get it super insightful and important. Love you guys.

26:50 this was really helpful for me when i was getting started with all my pursuits . despite everything you think you can't do, at one point you learned to walk. you learned to read. they might seem like nothing now, but anything will when its far enough behind you. as long as you never stop trying you will make progress
I’m two months into putting myself out there with RUclips content for Dallas real estate. This video was definitely worth the watch for me as the points they make early on to your RUclips/content process are spot on
I love Alex's rationale for what you're capable of doing. What's the cliche that says essentially the same thing? Something like "whether you believe you can or you can't, you're right."
I liked the part where Alex said “what problem are you solving for?” A lot of women like The Holistic Psychologist are solving for the problem of mind, body, spirit healing. But if you are trying to have goals like Alex, living by her suggestions will not help you achieve your goal. Listening to Alex’s suggestions will. We gotta know the end goal and what is success for everyone we take advice or suggestions from. If the goals are not aligned, we are listening to the wrong people for our goals.
I think Alex’s point on those who suffer the ills of racial inequality is valid, as in… “You have to overcome it inspite of…”. Because the alternative is to lay down and die. HOWEVER, what he an others who are quick to point out that dynamic often miss is: if you can take the time - as a white male, no less - to talk about overcoming racial struggles you never experienced yourself - also then *at least* take the time (be as explicit) to call out people and systems that continue to perpuate oppression and systemic racism. In other words, don’t simply use your platform to pass the buck - use it to attack what is: the problem to begin with. All that said: Hormozi is a beast. Love listening to his mindset and approach to life!
I got into self-improvement and business space online at 16. I’m 19 now and running an FBA business. I made £800 profit last month and I’m totally confident I’ll be quiting my 9-5 next year. Thank you Chris, Alex and everyone else who has helped 🤝🤝

Alex Hormozi's exploration of 19 harsh truths about human nature offers a candid and thought-provoking perspective on the complexities of human behavior.
