@@Nutsandboltsspeedtraining Hi sir, in here, 17:30 drawing straight line and 45 or 90-degree function by pressing shift doesn't work for me. Please help
Oh I re watched it again and resolve it ! ^_^ Just have to press shift first before press draw :) Thanks to you Love all of those and here is my sub to you
You're welcome! Glad to hear you are learning your shortcuts! I also have a killer shortcuts course on UDEMY if you want to go deeper into the different types of shortcuts. You can check it out here: www.udemy.com/course/powerpoint-shortcuts
Sorry about that (we've been having trouble with the delivery system and are trying to fix it). I uploaded it to Google Drive that you can access here: drive.google.com/file/d/18bGGTTGDWOF9zc-jQfYsuyP7M8cQ8_ya/view?usp=sharing
Do you now how to send back a picture, all at once, not one thing at a time. At 15:10 in your video, suppose I just want the large gray square sent back automatically, I do not need to worry about managing the layering. I already now about Ctrl + Shift + [. I'm looking anything faster.
My guess is that another program on your computer is overriding those default shortcuts. Do you know if any other program is using that shortcut? Like a notes app, a message app or a language bar (those are the usual culprits). Check out my other video for help with that: ruclips.net/video/AqPiqgQn6sk/видео.html
Hi, thanks for the presentation. Juste a simple question: isn't a shortcut to create a text zone?? This is the most regular action that you do in powerpoint! best,
I'm not 100% sure what you mean by a "text zone." You can type text into placeholders, shapes, and/or text boxes, but I have never heard of them called a "text zone" before.
I watched this on your website but I just HAD to come here to comment because I know that the align objects hot keys are gonna save me HOURS of work. THANK YOUUUUUU!!!
THANK YOU!!! Yes, the aligning shortcuts are the best (and why I often call it the million dollar shortcut). I also show you how to pull off impossible alignments inside my course if you are ever interested in that too :)
Hello Sir, thank you for this wonderful presentation. I have one question how to add the rectangular pan you have (which I can change font size and add a text box, etc, quickly) under the ribbon?
To do that you will need to edit your Quick Access Tool Bar. You can right-click the commands in your Ribbon and add them, and for the rectangle, you can find that in "Commands Not In the Ribbon" in the Custom Quick Access Toolbar section of PowerPoint. I demo how to do that in third video of my free PPT training series if you want to check it out: nutsandboltsspeedtraining.com/save-40-hours-in-powerpoint/
You have soo quality content that you deserve to have like 5.000.000 Subs!! But the only thing I don't like is the price of your courses and products, they are like insane high...
Thanks for the comment and glad to hear you like our RUclips videos! Our courses get pretty advanced and are geared for hardcore users (hence the price). That said, if you are a student in college, in an MBA program or are living overseas, we do offer discounts on a case by case basis if you reach out.
Thx a lot, huge time savers! Very clear, just like your fantastic courses. I also like your transitions in this tutorial. Of course, some shortcuts are different on non-US keyboards. That's why I changed my BE KB layout to US KB at work, now I'm gonna change this at home as well (the hard part is to put stickers on the keys). And now it's time to start practicing a lot, it's the best way to memorize those cool shortcuts. :-)
Thanks Chris and you are on the right path. The more shortcuts you know, the faster you will become :). Great point about keyboard too, I always forget to shortcuts like this are always quoted using a U.S. keyboard. Cheers!
Could you tell me the short cut key for accessing menu keys in ppt in Mac? For e.g. ALT+N would be insert in PC, what’s the equivalent in MAC? Your help would be super appreciated.
Sorry I can't be of more help, I don't have a Mac in front of me to test it out. Normally you just have to substitute the Opt, Cmd and Shift Keys around to find the equivalent on a Mac, but sometimes the shortcuts can be quite different.
The Mac QAT works a bit differently (I was just helping one of my students with this). For the alignment tool (as of right now) you have to add the individual commands to your QAT and use your mouse to access them. Microsoft hasn't fully ported over the PC QAT shortcuts like this to the IOS system yet (which really sucks). Hopefully they will do this soon!
@@Nutsandboltsspeedtraining Yes, that's what I thought. This was the closest I could get my Mac to function like my Windows work computer. Thank you for the fantastic video.
Reduce the speed by 0.5x under the playback speed inside 3dots on top right corner of the video, Have a note and pen to take notes before starting... else there is high chance that we miss out or forget soon.
Nuts & Bolts Speed Training I don’t know why you want to increase your speed! Enjoy what you are... no need to race😄.We already feel it’s too fast and reducing the speed by half to grasp what you teach😅
Thanks for that! Glad you enjoyed all the shortcuts. For a longer list of my favorite keyboard shortcuts, you can check out the following blog post. nutsandboltsspeedtraining.com/powerpoint-tutorials/80-favorite-powerpoint-keyboard-shortcuts/
First you just need to click the slide in the thumbnail view on the left with your mouse (that selects it and activates the thumbnail pane). Then holding your CTRL key just hit the Up or Down arrow key on your key pad and that should move the slide(s) up or down in your presentation. Is that not working for you?
Do you mean Dictation or do you mean have the computer read to you what's on the screen? Alt, H, D1, D will open your dictation command in the latest version of Office, but if you need to use it a lot I recommend adding it to your QAT like I do with the alignment tool in shortcut #15.
So great! Many time saving shortcuts. I know it's called 'speed training'...but is there a shortcut to slow it down? :) I will be referring back to this video often and sharing with co-workers.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Yes... I have a tendency to get excited about shortcuts :)The best way to slow down the video is to use an app like Video Speed Controller (that's the one I use). It's a Chrome app that allows you to speed up or slow down any video you play on your computer (I use it all the time to speed videos up). You can check it out here: chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/video-speed-controller/nffaoalbilbmmfgbnbgppjihopabppdk?hl=en
@@Nutsandboltsspeedtraining No need to download any apps to slow down the speed on youtube videos. You can just press the cog wheel on the youtube video and then the third choice - playback speed and then choose your wanted speed :)
Thanks for this great video! Very helpful and always focused on productivity. 2 questions: (1) Do you know if there is a shortcut for centering an object on a page? (2) Are there any shortcuts to navigate between text boxes? Many thanks! 👍🏻💯
Yes to both of those. 1. Once you set up your alignment tool in the first position of your QAT 28:08, centering an object is Alt, 1, C. As long as you only have a single object selected, the Alignment Tool uses your slide as the anchor object to force the alignment. 2. You can Tab or Shift + Tab through your tet boxes (and F2 / ESC to get in and out of them). You can also Ctrl + Enter through your placeholders (but only in one direction) if you are trying to knock out a presentation quickly. I teach how to do all of this and more in my PowerPoint 3X Speed training course that you can access through our PowerPoint Pro Membership if you are interested. Glad you enjoyed the video. That's weird about your shortcuts, watch my other "shortcuts aren't working" video and see if one of those solutions fixes the problem for you. Those shortcuts should work for you. An alternate one to try (which isn't as good is) Crl + [ and Ctrl + ]
