This is incredibly helpful! After years of using PP I still learned some very useful tips I didn't know before, and all of them are time-saving and useful in every presentation. Your explanations are great and easy to understand. Thanks a lot.

Learned some great tips. Thanks so much! I have a Mac, and I was able to translate most of these, but another video pointed out the ribbon shortcuts only work on PCs. Bummer! I just wanted to mention as a Mac user that it's always helpful when videos mention that in the video or the description so Mac users know not to even try. But I did love the tips. Thanks!!!
Thanks Donna that's some helpful feedback! In case it's helpful, the free course on our website comes with a cheat sheet of the top 50 powerpoint shortcuts, but there's also a mac version of the cheat sheet as well.
Most of this was new to me & not boring. The worlds best hack for improving productivity is to get better/faster at typing Boring? Maybe Doesn't change the fact that its true!
Very helpful video! Quick question - when designing my slide, the 'Click to add text' stays in the background - I know it doesn't appear when I'm presenting the slide, but I notice your slides don't have it showing - have I missed a step, or should I just ignore it?
hi thank you for the video, really helpfull! Consulting company should make intensive training with your video, they might save seconds or minutes per day on consultant, but for x thousands consultants on one year? I just have a question ; 'm working on mac as well, and the "alt" and "F4" tricks are not working for me. Do you have an idea of what it could be?
Thank you! We actually do give trainings to consulting companies (and other companies) quite regularly on this exact thing. For Mac you may want to check out the free shortcuts cheat sheet on our website. When you get the email there is also a link to download a Mac version. Should help a lot!
No ribbon shortcuts on Mac unfortunately. You can download the shortcuts cheat sheet from our website and it comes with a Mac version, but many of the ribbon shortcuts aren't available.
Many of these shortcuts are available for Mac (but not all). If you want to download the shortcuts cheat sheet from our website there is a Mac version as well.
Please stop second guessing your audience and apologizing. In the same way we don’t practice that in public speaking, it’s also not a good practice in a video. Me, I’m learning lots of new things. Those who don’t want to learn just allow them to wander off.
Context is everything. He was apologetic at the beginning to emphasize that little things matter and to inject some humor. I found this approach effective.
I wanted to join but your courses are very expensive, in India it is costing around Rs.17000/- more than per capita income of most peoples in this country.

Love this video.
F4 doesn't work on Dell Laotop any idea how to do it
Are the alt shortcuts similar to excel? The formats look similar from another video I just watched
Yes! Many of the shortcuts are the same or similar.
Great tips!
Wonderful tips and tricks! Keep up the good work.
Thanks! Glad you liked them.
Very powerful!
Great to hear!
Really useful..Thanks for sharing
Amazingly useful!
Fantastic!
A small tip, if F4 doesn’t work for you use fn + F4!
Thank you for this,. Also what app did you use to create the mini powerpoint videos on each page of your slide?
Excellent video
thank a ton !

Awesome
Do Microsoft provide an analysis of the buttons you use most?
Not that I'm aware of but that would be helpful!
Ohhhh my god! You’re telling me that i didnt need gridlines and hours or zooming in to align this? 😮
Do you know how to activate ribbon shortcuts for mac users?
No ribbon shortcuts on Mac unfortunately. You can download the shortcuts cheat sheet from our website and it comes with a Mac version, but many of the ribbon shortcuts aren't available.
Paul, what about consultants who use Powerpoint as part of Microsoft 365 on MacBook? None of your hacks work for them.
you are guru
What about Macs?
Correct way would be to align right. Not left
[Hack 6]
You are right, that was a mistake. Good catch!
Mac not working the shortcut keys?
Many of these shortcuts are available for Mac (but not all). If you want to download the shortcuts cheat sheet from our website there is a Mac version as well.
Cool
Thanks!
Good stuff but why not use ctrl+A to select all? You don't have to worry about header text in this example
You're right! That would have been faster.
Think these are all for PCs, rather than Macs (no F keys on a Mac)
Someone once told me a joke, that people who are good at PowerPoint has neither power or point. lol
I knew all of these hacks...guess I'm a pro and didn't realise! ha
Extreme basics….
All good hacks but the #1 hack should have been work from a template.
I wanted to join but your courses are very expensive, in India it is costing around Rs.17000/- more than per capita income of most peoples in this country.
The real secret... their slides suck. They're meant to obfuscate the fact that they're not delivering any value.
This was amazing, easy to understand, and well explained. Thank you!
So glad!
Thanks a lot !
