  • One of the greatest, most elusive runners in NFL history. Faulk could make defenders miss with ease and had enough speed to breakaway as well. Faulk was the 2nd overall pick by the Colts in 1994 and after running for over 1,300 yards in 1998, he was traded to the Rams. He was the final piece in the Rams offense and was the center piece of the "Greatest Show on Turf" offense. He was a versatile player running and receiving for over 1,000 yards in 1999, helping the Rams win their first Super Bowl.
His peak was from 1998 to 2001 where he had over 2,000 yards from scrimmage and set a then record in 2000 with 26 touchdowns en route to the NFL MVP. He would retire with over 12,000 yards rushing, over 6,500 receiving yards, and 136 total touchdowns. Faulk was a 3x First Team All Pro, 7x Pro Bowler, 3x NFL Offensive Player of the Year, and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

His 2000 season arguably the best in history. 1360 yards rushing/18 TD's with 5.4 ypc, plus 81 receptions for 830 yards and 8 TD's. 2190 yards and 26 TD's, and he did this while missing 2 full games, and part of another when he got hurt.

Marshall Faulk is one of the greatest running backs of all time during his era. He won a Super Bowl as a member of the formerly St. Louis Rams. He was very versatile as a player because he was one of the three players to reach at least 10,000 rushing yards and 5,000 receiving yards and the only one to amass 12,000 yards rushing and 6,000 yards receiving

Thank you for putting this up. I hear of all these RBs and MF seems to always to g😢et left out the convo. He was an AMAZING RB. He could run, catch out the backfield, run pass patterns , block and even called plays. He was dynamic! The one time he was lackadaisical and didnt block it changed the Rams. Trent Green got hurt in preseason because he missed his block and Kurt Warner got that team that he fit so well. He was real and accountable about that and never forgot after that to be all in at all times on the field. More than we can say for many who seem to find ways not to be accountable.

  • @terrenceolivido741

Marshall Faulk is my favorite. I like his rhetoric and he proved on the field he was sincere. It is hard to comment too much on Faulk, i find it hard to believe he was a problem on the Colts . But hey, i was not there. Also the cast of characters like Warner, Vermiel, Marz ... and Faulk. It is a great story. We love Warner who is ... just an incredible person. Marz admitted that the Rams should have won Super Bowl 2 - his take in the end - essentially he did not turn Faulk and the offence loose until the second half.
