I kind of like the simple animations in Minecraft and I hope Mojang keeps them. However, I think that climbing ladders and vines needs an animation.

Diagonal fences is good but with Minecraft's pixel perfect art style I doubt they will just rotate them (although new updates have more realistic and complex blocks/animations)
I do think train guys animation mod should be in the game, but like a toggled option with easy access, like in the pause menu
