The tree falling isn't really like Minecraft, things are supposed to float and stay in a position, obviously except things that were made for falling, like sand gravel and anvils ECT

Mojang won’t add these due to players saying it’s not “minecrafty” and want it to be removed
The trees falling mod should never be added to the base game lol. it doesn't fit the game's style at all and, when you join the game, it's pretty much the first thing you see and learn - that trees float. It's such a big part of the game, it's not worth taking it away.
If it isn't broken, don't fix it, then the players won't be mad.
How about if you mine the first block on the bottom it will fall but if you mine the second or what ever block up the tree floats @@Infact77
The real thing is falling tree mod is best as it will save lot of time.
You really have to either waste your resources on erasing the whole tree or wait for it to itself disappear. And if it is a long tree with spreaded block of woods, go again, maine it and wait again.

best mod to be in Minecraft is Distant Horizons, it doesn't add new blocks or mechanics but it improves Minecraft appearance completely turning it into a much nicer game. best mod ever

Instead of Falling Trees, try Dynamic Trees! Gives trees in Minecraft a whole new meaning and actually changes more than just the trees falling over.

The falling trees is probably a QoL thing as sometimes it's a pain to harvest tress (except if you have a tree farm)
