      That's great to hear man. What are your specifics? E.g. age, length of time you drank, what kind of volume or intensity you drank to? I was a frequent but sometimes sporadic drinker who would occasionally drink to excess, often bringing serious repercussions, minor injuries etc, dancing with huge risks etc.... volatile emotionality induced through drinking. I'm 15 days without alcohol and today was my hardest day.... Just a crap depression. But that's probably what I was trying to mask with drinking in the first place

    Life just gets so much better without alcohol, I love every day of my life now, there was time when alcohol almost took everything away from me. Quit it TODAY.

    I've lost count of the days. But I know it's been over 3 months since my last drink. No regrets.

    Today is day 163 alcohol free 🥳.. and I’ve noticed lots of differences . I feel like I get a new chance at life . I’m thankful that my life does NOT revolve around drinking alcohol. My face is clear and glowing ! I have so much more energy and I feel FREE.
    Sometimes I do get the idea of having one drink .. but then that idea is quickly replaced with .. why would I want to drink poison ? And the truth is .. I was never a one drink type of girl .. although temptation is everywhere .. it’s just not worth going back down that rabbit hole. Thanks for the motivation Leon 🎉

    It definitely does change, and only for the better, especially the relationship with the wife and kids which is now thousand times better.💯
    Never going back that's for sure, should have stopped earlier, but better late than never.

    After quitting: its weird that the thing that made me think AI needed and would miss alcohol was ALCOHOL. ❤I am not kidding. It's wild how much of a loop it is. Even if you only have 1 drink a week. Alcohol tricks us to think we need it in some way.

    Think the brainfog after quittung is worse than the hangover itself

      I agree completely but it's times like those when you have to realise that this is normal and look at it in a positive light and just realise that your body is changing for the better and that brain fog you're experience is physical proof that you're changing for the better and becoming healthier

    Why do I gain weight when I take a break from drinking? Like a pound a day. Does anybody else experience this?

    • @james0003
      @james0003 2 месяца назад

      @@jbougger Alcohol makes us lose water when we drink it. That’s why we tend to go to loo while we are drinking but later after few hours body strat holding water because it think it’s loosing water. It will teaming there for 4/5 days. If you stop drinking after 4/5 days you will Strat loosing. Also people when they stop alcohol tend to eat lots of sugar , that’s another possibility
