Tool Restoration - Ball-peen Hammer

In between some other projects I refurbished this old ball-peen hammer. I once bought this in a thrift store for €1 and has always been a favorite hammer of mine. Time to give this one some attention. A new handle and the hammer head a bit polished. Not a museum piece, but a nice and well-balanced hammer for my tool rack.

Looks better than new Frank! Great work on everything. I have a hammer that has been in need of a handle for many years.
As I recall it was very old when I got it as an apprentice wood pattern maker. I have sanded it and refinished it many times but there are lots of scars on it from all these years. Guess I will just leave it the way it is..lol
