There's no way ol' Toddy would make a new sculpt without having plans of making tons more figures to come. And I have a feeling Joker, Alfred, Robin, and friends or foes are coming next.

Yeah other than the length of the cape, the body and head sculpt looks good enough for an Adam West. McFarlane is annoyingly hit or miss with their live action Batmen but this one of their better likeness. Speaking of miss, I'm looking forward to your review of the Platinum Horsefleck. lol I just got mine delivered.

I'm so happy you did this figure review. I grew up watching the Adam West Batman 60's show. I was always excited to see that it was on TV, because I also grew up watching the Wonder Woman TV Series, and when Superman The Movie came out, I was so excited that it was so much bigger than these two shows. I then began to wish for a big screen Batman and Wonder Woman movie like Richard Donner's epic hit. When Tim Burton was about to release his movie in '89, I was in the 7th grade that summer, and I remember begging my mom to loan me the money until allowance day, for her to buy me the novelized movie book when I saw it on a store shelf. I read it twice in a week, stared at the Michael Keaton Batman Close-Up on the cover FOR HOURS, and had dreams at night of the scenes from the book with the look of the 1960's series. Little did I know that the movie would blow me away, in a way that none of us audience members could ever expect. Now that this figure is about to come stateside, I feel that giddy anticipation with the soon to be released iteration of THIS Batman. I can't wait, because I've been waiting for him to Multiverse this version if Batman. I've avoided his six inch line because I KNEW he would do this. Now we just have to wait for the rest of the characters; all the versions of Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, The Penguin, The Joker, Robin, Pharoah, Frank Gorshin's The Riddler . . .

I heard the Hugo strange has the short cape, some say it was meant to have the shorter cape 💯 would look better ,more screen accurate

Great review as always, D. I haven't seen this one out in the wild yet. But even if I do run across it I'll probably pass. Mainly because I don't do movie or TV figures. I'm strictly comic book and some video game looks. I'll only pick up a live action figures to use as civilians or if the figure can pass as a comic version of some kind. Like I bought the Justice League movie armored Darkseid because I can fudge it as a version of his modern comic look. I would also like to get Lucious Fox, but I probably waited too long to find him in store. Anyway, as Adam West Batman figures go, this looks like the best one out there. Maybe they'll make Robin to go with him, and a 7-inch scale TV Batmobile. I know you'd love that.
It's only been at Walmart so far, GameStop and Target soon.
I"m expecting a Robin and Batmobile.
I hope that this isn't the last 7 Inch 66 figure they do. I obviously don't expect them to give us the entire 6 inch line in 7 Inch, but Robin, Joker, hopefully a Riddler? I'd be happy.
Now maybe a Batmobile since they're going hard in that line...
And we *technically* don't have all the Live Action Batmen, Lewis Wilson from the 1943 serial doesn't have a figure!

You got one thing completely wrong.....mcfarlane has NOT givin us a keaton.......he put out a shabby, mid figurecand slapped an 89 label on it but there is no keaton at all in it.
Weather you think it’s good or not it’s their version of Keaton
Nice review and you have a heck of a Batman collection! The cape will probably be used with taller new releases of Batman or iterations who drag the very long cape.

Yours came with 2 left ankle joints. Word needs to get out this is a running problem with this figure. I've bought 5 with 2 left ankle joints and only 1 with the correct joints.

@@dHuntersReviews I noticed on my B&W they were actually upside down. But my blue and greys definitely have 2 of the left ankle joints.

Great review. I like this figure, the only drawbacks that I see are the length of the cape and the cowl looks small on his head. He had more room in it on the show.

Great review. I hate McFarlane figures there's always something missing or off from the wide-stance his figures do which nobody stands that way naturally or
his figures don't have enough hands. On a side note it comes to your new adam west batman figure why are his gauntlet spikes sticking out on the sides so much. I just can't do it. I really wish that warner brothers would give their licenses to a new toy company. 😢
