- Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa is a luxury beachfront property located in the upscale community of Wailea in south Maui, Hawaii. The hotel has direct access to Mokapu Beach and has 5 distinct swimming pools with 3 ocean facing cascading infinity pools.
Our video is a quick tour of our “2 Queen Beds Ocean View” room and the grounds of this trendy, modern hotel.
The Andaz brand of hotels and resorts are part of the Hyatt hotel family and can be booked with points though the chain’s World of Hyatt program. Our stay at this luxury property would have cost almost $5000 for 5 nights, but we stayed here for FREE thanks to transferring our Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt.

Great video. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem with me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S.
It’s a small property so you won’t have to do too much walking. I do believe that they have things in place to accommodate issues that you have since my elder parents went with us and didn’t have much issues getting around even with bad knee joints.
Praying for our fellow Hawaiians in Maui tonight. Hope these fires die down soon.

Interesting how the andaz formula plays out on a larger canvas. That being said, the maui fires and their devastation have been dominating the headlines, I can’t imagine what the victims are going through. Are you guys alright? Are you safe?

This was September last year! It was pouring hard our first day. The streets were flooded, but no more rain after that! Have you been to Maui?
@@BevandRyanNo, never been. I had booked a trip for January 2024 in Kaanapali but not sure if I should cancel or stay in Wailea at this point due to the fires. I am sad for the people of Lahaina and Maui.
I would stay in the Wailea area.
Do they make french fry pancakes?
We will go back and find out when Maui opens up again 😢
