We just got back home from staying at the Hyatt Regency and it was fantastic. The staff and accommodations were great. I would highly recommend staying there.

My girlfriend and I don't drink but the bar 54 seems really cool for the view, would we still be able to just grab the bar food there to enjoy the view? Thanks for any information, its a Christmas suprise and after searching for hotels Times Square Centic Hyatt seems like a great choice because of how much there is to do

The Sheraton Waikiki is our favorite also. One hint: skip Lawson Station and go a few extra steps into the Royal Hawaiian Center to the ABC Store for better prices. Better yet, go out to Kalakaua Avenue, make a left, cross the street, and go into Walgreens to shop for drinks and snacks for your room.

Nice video- well done. I wish people who weren't globalists would make videos for us common folk. That breakfast looks awesome for free but for me it's probably $30 . Definitely not worth it for me- Im not such a big breakfast eater. I booked a standard room for 23 points- no club access rooms were available

DO NOT STAY AT BELLAGIO IF YOU ARE DISABLED OR HAVE ANY PHYSICAL IMPAIRMENTS. Made reservations at Bellagio for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration. My wife has difficulty walking so I called in advance of my arrival and was assured a wheelchair would be available from the Uber to our room and an electric scooter the next day. Upon arrival i was told no wheelchair were available.. My wife had to struggle to get to our room from the Uber and front desk. Next day informed by Guest Services that no scooters available. I was told to contact their scooter supplier who i also found out had none available. After talking to 4 people in Guest Services, while my wife was unable to leave the room, none could offer any help. I asked to talked to the Operations manager who basically told me there was nothing he could do and to drop my request and even threatened to have me evicted from the hotel if I created anymore distraction over their refusal to help my handicapped wife. Draw your own conclusions. Later I resolved the issue by myself in 5 minutes by finding another scooter provider.

My two favorite hotels in the country are The Grand Wailea and The Waldorf Astoria in NYC. Since I live on Maui, I enjoy going to The Grand from time to time. It is such a gorgeous place. Once on Mother’s Day we gathered there, a large group, to enjoy the buffet in the huge dining room and terrace. The best Mother’s Day ever!

Santa Monica/Venice Beach, another unexplored socal frontier for myself. The Legendary Santa Monica Pier, the elegant 3rd street promenade, ocean park, venice canals. Always wanted to see those legendary idyllic places, but the crime wave made me hesitant. Hoping the new DA can get things under control. How safe was your visit to the area overall, were you able to enjoy it? Sorry to hear about your experience with the front desk staff. I'd also like to see Marina Del Rey at some point. Alas, unlike Orange County where you could use one hotel in the middle of the county to see everything (newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Irvine), LA is a much harder place to plan a trip around. Traffic paralyzes travel, not a lot of cohesive infrastructure, you have to kind of localize your trips by section, not always able to get the best deals close to the best locations. It'll be a multi part act for sure. And the current crime problems are on top of that. Once toured Redondo Beach Pier, and enjoyed the spectacular views and the overall experience, but I had a bit of an issue with a bum who started yelling for dollars and chasing people around, myself included. Thankfully he gave up the chase, and while he ultimately did not ruin Redondo Beach for me, he made me hesitant to pursue tourist ventures further up north into LA county.

Hi, thanks for this! I had stayed at this hotel, courtesy a conference in 2017. It was my first time in Hawaii and this place totally blew my mind away. I had a view similar to yours, overlooking the wedding chapel. It was a work trip but those few days at the hotel, walking to Humhumu early in the morning, staring at the beautiful starry nights on the beach, java finch sightings (I am an amateur birder) and multiple trips to the conference areas are memories that I hold close to my heart. :)

That's unfortunate about the staff.. especially towards loyal Hyatt members. They need to check their staff @hyatt hopefully it's just growing pains from being new

Funny we used to 4X4 down to the beach and camp before the hotel was built there. We could have a raging fire on the beach and nobody would bother us. Was an amazing place!

Hmm....Santa Barbara....they call it america's riviera. I hear it's kind of a hipster small coastal town with a lot of spanish architecture with more small businesses and walk friendly areas and a unique food culture that combine to create a unique upscale environment (and people travel there specifically for it's remoteness and uniqueness), and that on a whole it stands in contrast to LA and the OC. I haven't visited it yet due to it's remoteness a couple hrs north of LA, lack of familiarity with the area, and changes in my work schedule which mean i don't travel as often. if LA/OC is a hyatt regency or a hilton, then Santa Barbara is more of a Destination/Joie de Vivre/Unbound collection/Curio collection kind of place.
