The beach is not rocky and there are a ton of restaurants just outside the hotel. You can just walk around without driving.

You’ll have to book almost year in advance for more availability or just days before the flight where we were able to book using 60K American Airlines miles each one way. We booked it 3 days before our flight.

This hotel’s design is mesmerizing, and I’m surprised to see that it actually embraces its identity as an airport hotel by letting you view them with binoculars and a guide, a unique touch. I once went on an SF trip in 2019, epic views of the bay and the bridge will leave you speechless, it truly was an experience for a lifetime. Clam Chowder in a sourdough bowl is a must, as was dinner at Palette Teahouse at Ghirardelli Square. Alas, for too many reasons to name here, these days, SF seems to be having some tough times. I Hope someday, the city by the bay may shine again.

@@BevandRyan great video, the Italian food court there is just fantastic! We ate there every day. I was surprised at how much I appreciated the non smoking atmosphere there….i guess I’m more sensitive to smoke than I used to be 😫

We totally agree with you. We’re also sensitive to smoke and it’s such a relief to finally have a casino that doesn’t allow smoking! The remodel of the hotel was good and the location is great as well.

It’s a small property so you won’t have to do too much walking. I do believe that they have things in place to accommodate issues that you have since my elder parents went with us and didn’t have much issues getting around even with bad knee joints.

We agree! It’s a shame that most of the hotels charge for parking now.

Unfortunately there are no all inclusive options. We wish there was that option though. When are you planning on going?

We used 600K Hilton points for our 5 night stay. It would have cost $10,000 for the room alone if we didn’t use points.

We still enjoyed our stay since the resort itself is nice and the staff are excellent. We probably would have not felt so positively if this was a once in lifetime type of trip though. We stayed at the Conrad Maldives in January 2022 and the weather was perfect and we got to do a lot of the water activities we missed out on for this trip.

There’s a lounge but we were staying at the Grand Hyatt connected to the airport so there was no need to go to the lounge.
