Norm Kirby V-E Day 75

Sergeant Norm Kirby stormed Juno Beach with the North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment on D-Day and served in France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany. He and his comrades liberated the Dutch people, who lived under Nazi occupation for five years. Norm relates his touching experiences with the Dutch people, including working with a Dutch barge family to gather intelligence on German forces and greeting Dutch children on their liberation day.
