    My dad never talked (with me) about his service. And I (oblivious) didn't question him. He was 75 when he left this earth. His photos tell me he trained at Shilo. Mangled bridges, cities reduced to rumble, the Eiffel tower, tanks, fields, barracks, soldiers, his brothers and sisters. MacArthur ...
    I'm 55 and currently searching/learning ww2 History trying to find his place in all this with his photos - be like puzzle pieces.
