Also, I agree with Bryguy. I also think the Fiendsmith cards are fair. Yeah they’re good and provide a recursive and grindy gameplay but they’re not oppressive. The only issue with them is their price point atm. Hopefully they’ll get reprinted in Stampede.

Always excited for a Crush Cards video! I’ve been taking a break from the game the last month and a half because I honestly feel gatekept out of it. First time I played against Ryzeal I had the perfect hand traps at the perfect spots and it still hardly slowed it down. I’m also just tired of being gatekept out of playing competitively due to cost of the game. Yes Bonanza was incredible with reprints but I genuinely can’t afford Fiendsmith, Ryzeal, Maliss or any deck that is able to compete right now. I’m hoping the Blue Eyes Structure Decks ignite a spark in me but I’m just having a tough time even being able to keep up with the game.
lets gooo also to back you on the ty-phon point, i agree. I call it the security blanket ty-phon cuz most decks that top with it never make it, it's card you make when you're losing.
Fiendsmith is absolutely fair...once we ban Closed Moon. Closed Moon is like Fiendsmith Verte. It allows just about any deck in the game to splash the Fiendsmith engine. There are easily a dozen must ban cards in the format right now, but Closed Moon should be near the top of anybody's list.
Welcome back guys and while i am currently retired from modern yugioh due to health and money issues I may come back for blue eyes depending on how i feel like physically but I have been enjoying the to me less stressful format of edison
I actually agree with Fiendsmith. The engine reminds me a lot of the adventure engine. I honestly think we will see it get power crept a bit and TCG will leave it alone
Sideline opinion: i don't find myself going into sp as much, how often do you go into it? What would you replace it with personally? Fiendsmith link or another rank 4?
I played yesterday & literally summoned it every single match. Detonator outs most boards but SP is your out to the follow up, engravers in grave, continuous spells/traps, things that can’t be destroyed. I personally wouldn’t cut it but if you had to. FS Link 3.
