The visuals show a contrast between light and dark, and the choreo contrasts between moments of quick, chaotic movements, and slow, repetitive ones. At the beginning during Lia’s lines, you see them forming an angel, that then turns into a monster. To me, the imaginary friend is something that’s a security blanket-could be a relationship, a substance, a habit-that gives you a feeling of comfort or security. But you’re at a place where you’re starting to ask, “Is this really a friend? Is this really good for me? Does this serve my best interest?” But you aren’t sure and you aren’t ready to let it go because it’s comforting.

actually this song reminds me a lot of ditto by newjeans in the way where here the imaginary friend can be compared to the parasocial relationship in ditto. other than that the vibes are similar yet different? but both are so haunting and so grey area esque? and the visuals are both so cinematic. i actually think you’d have a lot to say about ditto if you haven’t already reacted to it!
It really seems like your computer is having some issues. On my end, the song audio and video are choppy but your voice and camera stuff are just fine. I hope all of your equipment can be looked at and de-bugged. Good reaction. The girls really did so great here!
