The engine is weak 1.6 turbo i think it woud not handal my driving !!! And cant aspect to get200 000 km out of it

@@markojagar6658 its a 2.0 turbo, and i can tell you very reliable engine, never got problems, only stock injectors are crappy but ive changed it, got 207000 km, and still drives like hell,

Hello mate, thank you! Well you can take a look at my Gumball 3000 2019 videos on my channek as I went on a big roadtrip with Megane RS (Trophy version) and found out a lot about the car. We managed to fit everything in the trunk (same as regular Megane so really ok), and consumption on the whole trip was surprisingly low, around 10 liters on 4000 kilometers roadtrip where we were really pushing it with other Gumball 3000 cars. Overall a great car 🔥🔥
@@crospotter13 Thanks for you advice man, i got a Megane sedan and i was thinking about buying a RS....was a little concerned about the trunk space, and also wanted to know something about the average consumption which is quite ok for that power and especially if you drive sporty....i bet it can go below 10Liters if you dont push it that much...
Yes I do believe so. Best option would be to take the car for a weekend test drive and then decide 😀

Cup edition is not yet on the market but in couple of months is coming, end of the sommer 2018 and it will be about 300Hp to 330Hp and will be with better recaro seats!

Hey man, unfortunarely it doesn't have a CD, I'm also a big fan of cd's I think they are more practical then Usb-s, mobile phone connections etc.
It's a shame that more and more manufacturers aren't offering them any more...

Well there seems to be a CD player in the glovebox if I'm not wrong

Ako ti nije problem da kazes, koja je razlika u normalnoj i Cup verziji i zanima me jos nesto, gledao sam jos neki klip, kada je pomeran volan zadnji tockovi su se vise pomerali, ali ovde nisam primetio toliku razliku..
Nema problema - dakle, Cup verzija donosi tvrđi ovjes i dostupna je samo s ručnim mjenjačem, namijenjena očito sportskijoj vožnji i ljubiteljima ručnog mjenjača :) Za koji mjesec na tržište stiže i Trophy verzija koja je jača za 20 KS (broji 300 KS).
Što se tiče zakretanja kotača, meni osobno fora stvar, u gradu okretan, a kod naglih ulaska u recimo kružni tok, dobiješ dojam da je auto lagano u boku (iako zapravo su kotači blago zakrenuti a auto samo malo klizi i nije naravno u boku). Pretpostavljam da treba bit u pokretu da bi došlo do izražaja zakretanje jer kad sam na mjestu to radio (u videu) nije bilo značajne promjene, vjerojatno da je auto isao koji kmh bi bilo jasno vidljivo zakretanje ali to nažalost nisam uspio snimiti. Ako te zanima još nešto slobodno pitaj :)
Pa u sustini to je to. Trophy verzija prepostavljam da je ista, samo ima vise KS ..? Da, to sa tockovima pozadi je odlicna idea.. Da, ja takodje volim rucni menjac, mada, kad vidim koliko dobro startuje i menja brzine automatik, nije ni ta opcija losa.. Ne znam da li si vozio i tu verziju sa automackim menjacem i kako ti se cini, ima li velike razlike ..?
Neki portali navode da ce Trophy verzija bit još tvrđa...
Sto se tice mjenjaca, vozio sam novi Clio RS 18 sa EDC-om do Londona i nazad, i iako sam inace skeptican prema automaticima, moram priznat da me odusevio kolko je brz i posebno kako u Rs-modeu lijepo downshifta i koci motorom, a naravno tu je i odlican zvuk kod saltanja (više pucanja, pretpostavljam da tako i Megane RS malo vise puca kod izmjena sa EDC-om). Ja bi osobno na kraju ipak rucni, ali EDC je jako blizu po svemu, a i brzi je neko ljudska ruka...

I couldnt find any info on the fuel type what it eats. Is it 98 or 95 octane? And the maintanance periods? Are they every 10k or 15k?
I put the 98 octane fuel in it but I'm sure 95 would also be fine. I am not sure about maintanance periods, I think the best thing is to ask a local dealership.

Excelente auto pero si precio es muy elevado, aquí en chile cuesta unos 40 mil dólares la versión Manuel con asientos de telas. Si costara 25 mil dólares fuera el auto más vendido de este segmento
Sounds really good, but why a manual, the Automatic shifts way faster and its cooler to drive imho!
I prefer the manual version, but on automatic pops & bangs should be better on upshifts
Just telling from the videos I don‘t really like the sound compared to others from its class. Other than that it seems like a pretty cool car!

I did say yellow because on the daylight it does look like a dark yellow, but it is actually "Volcanic Orange". In the daylight looks similar to yellow but in the evening and night you can clerly see it's orange, my bad :)

RS Focus or this?
Had a chance to drive them both. Well, I think Focus RS is more fun to drive because of the all wheel drive and drift mode. But, it is more expensive so with this car you can also have fun and you will pay much less for the car...With unlimited budget I would go for Focus RS, but for around 33-35 k euros this is the "best buy"

Why does it goes plop plop like that? It almost sounds like bubble wrap, never heard a car doing that kind of sound before.
Classic pops& bangs, but maybe a bit "lighter" version compared to let's say Hyundai i30N...if you put it in normal mode you don't get them, but I think it sound great 🔥🔥
I wasn't expecting that, it's a pretty unconventional way of doing it, I'm pretty curious of how they got this result.

Very nice looking car but the sound is muffled. Lots of purbling but not so much pops and bangs. Needs an after market exhaust. Shame

wait for the Trophy version which will have a full akrapovic exhaust system like the Clio Trophy.
you do get loud bangs also, just need sharp acceleration in 1st 2nd or even 3rd gear with immediate lift off the accelerator pedal, then it will bang very loud.
EU forced renault to went 1.8 now I don't want the car. I couldn't wait for 2019 trophy-r 2.0, but when they showed the rs with 1.8 that's it the trophy-r will also have 1.8. big turbo have many minuses. no thanks.
Could be that, but in Renault they say they went for 1.8 because of weight savings (they had to put the same engine in Alpine A110 and new Megane RS therefore decided to go with 1.8 because it's lighter...at least that's what they say
they went for 1.8 for low emissions and better fuel economy. for god sake I did not buy my type-r for fuel economy or low yearly taxes (due to higher emissions). I want no compromise. thats type-r. rs is compromise. personal view. maybe I will change mind with the trophy-r. time will tell. still almost a year to wait for the trophy-r. please do better renault. maybe better than type-r ? can you do it

Sound could be better I agree, but pops & bangs are really nice while driving it and it's hard to capture them on camera.

Pues no veo mal el precio, en España cuesta desde 35 mil euros, si tienes en cuenta el cambio de divisas y la importación lo veo un precio justo. Y no son asientos de tela lo que trae, es Alcántara.
En España ahora mismo cuesta menos de 30000 euros si escoges el chasis básico, el Sport, con cambio manual.
Y viene con los asientos (semi-backet) de tela y el volante de cuero.
Si los quieres en Alcántara están en una opción. Y creo q cuestan 1100 e.

Vete a un concesionario y pregunta. Del precio inicial siempre te hacen descuentos. Te lo digo porque hace 3 semanas he encargado 1. Y me llegará en mayo.
Con cambio EDC, pintura rojo deseo y llantas de 19....voy a pagar 31100 euros.
Si te quedas con el cambio manual, en blanco (No pagas pintura metalizada) y las llantas q vienen de serie q son de 18" (q no son muy bonitas)......te lo puedes sacar por 28000 pavos
