11:00 The chain was probably locking up because you didn't oil it. The chain needs to be oiled way more often than that! You're also damaging the bar from the heat. The bar and chain were not oiled throughout, even if done at first, which we didn't see happen. You'll have to get used to oiling frequently if you want it last and you may have to refill that little bottle. See if you can find a screw-on dripping tip for a normal size bar and chain oil bottle, or even a pocket size one to carry and refill. Even without oiling, it works a lot better than I thought it would. $110 for such a complete kit isn't bad. I have a high power 4-stroke Troy-Bilt Power Head with attachments like a weed eater, a tiller, cutting blades with an adapter and a 9 inch (I think) self-oiling chainsaw and two extensions for quite a height in trimming branches, so I don't need this, but it is pretty nice. Also recharge both batteries overnight. Happy New Year to you, Johnny and your family.

I agree that the chain needs plenty of oil and I did oil it before starting the cut. I should have shown that in the video. I started to use that small bottle that was supplied with the saw but ended up just pouring oil into the cap of the oil container a couple of times to make sure I saturated the chain & bar. Johnny asked why I had so much oil on it, I believe it was binding once when it got pinched in the cut & when cutting a smaller branch that was "bouncing". We fully charged the batteries when the saw arrived last month. This is one of my first battery operated tools, "gas & power cord is what I use" so I am not sure if it is normal for the batteries to lose power from sitting or if these are not quality batteries.
A Safe & Happy New Year to you and your family, Joe Z
