- The G1 Guitar Stand by Xvive is an awesome stand for many reasons. It's lightweight, durable, can be used with any guitar, fits in gig bag, designed well, looks great, non slip, portable... the list goes on and on. In this video I explain why I think this is the perfect guitar stand for any guitar player.

This felt like watching a Shark Tank pitch. One of the sharks would probably say "Unfortunately, I don't play guitar. So for that reason, I'm out."
Good to see you! Was just talking about how I missed your videos.
Amigo, I'm one of the guys that bought the GR55 thanks to your video, did Roland send you a free GM-800? 😄
Welcome Home Mr Russell
You left out one extremely important detail. Are these nitrocellulose safe?
I’m not sure if that has specifically been tested on the G1 or not. I will say this though, if there ever were pads that were safe, I’d imagine that these are the pads. I’ve had guitar stands in the past that the rubber has come off. This is not rubber, it’s silicone, which I don’t think even sticks to paint, so I don’t see how the nitro finish would come off. Do you know of any stands that specifically say they are nitro safe?
It's not necessarily if its rubber or silicone but its more about how the material off gases in contact with a nitro finish. And I have seen stands that claimed that in the past but it's been years since I looked into it because I didn't fully trust them. So off stage, I'd just put my Gibson in it's case during set breaks, only using a stand on my Fenders. I honestly would like a quality stand like this is it's safe for all finish types.
Where have you been!??
Thanks for asking. It's nice to know someone noticed I've been gone. lol. I got burned out on youtube for a couple years. I think I am in a good place now to start making videos again. So stay tuned. Also, thanks for clicking on the video when you saw it. I'm surprised RUclips has me in anyone's algorithm after all this time. lol
Great to see you back, Kennis! Cheers to the future!
Thanks man. I appreciate that.

Good to see you!

Great. Another tiny stand I can leave on stage when I load out in the dark nightclub.
If the stand is small and invisible on stage (ie black or grey) we never bring them home.
I must have left 50 of those damn things behind.
One time a club didnt want to pay us. So we went backstage and "took" all the mic stands and guitar stands left behind by the bands at loadout as "payment".
One of the mic stands was one we built 20 years prior that had been stolen at a gig at that club!.. THEY had stolen our welded chain mic stand and HIDDEN it for 20 years!
I musta had 20 guitar stands.
They were all gone in Under 2 years.
Left behind alone, on a random stage, never to be seen again.
Guitar stands?
Hell no!
Here's the kicker. Even with his link, it's a $90 stand... And the website does not state if it's even nitro finish safe... For a $90 stand!
Lol. That is really funny. I recommend getting some neon gaffer tape and putting a bit in all your equipment. You will see it and it will identify all your stuff as yours.
