Generator for this model are hard to come by.
I have one too that first got it and had a leak luckily didn't cause a fire but need to isolate the leak. Hoping I can just pressurize with air and use bubbles to find it. But it ran just ended up with fuel everywhere down the side. Freaked out and didn't get to locate the leak. May just be a bit I need to tighten the packing. We shall see
I did find one generator for it which I'm holding onto.
They are hard to come by

For me the knob you use to adjust the flame on the old generator was snapped off but by what I've learned is that the packing doesn't really come out easy but apparently it does come out only if you heat up the connection... they're brazed together. Not simple at all. There are posts where someone did it on the coleman collectors forum. In my opinion though you probably just need to tighten the packing nut down a little. Regarding finding the leak...I didn't submerge mine because I'm wanting to prevent rust...so I just make sure it's bone dry and pumped it full of air... there are only 3 places fuel would leak...on off valve...the flame adjustment valve...or the fuel cap as you probably know already. Lastly...Regarding sources for the part...I found mine on Craigslist... it was ten bucks and worth it for the really hard to find part. I wish mine just leaked because that's easy to fix...broken handle is not so easy haha
