“So how long are you gonna keep my phone?” That was her response to being told the baby died. Unless that was creative editing, that was cold. The emphasis on “I’d never hit MY kids” is just as chilling.
In all fairness she said that later. They clip the video directly after telling her the baby died, and don't show her reaction, but skip to some point afterward.

I was just fixing to comment this she more worried about her phone and her appointments then the news of a passing of sweet little girl she claimed loved so much. People like this don't deserve children. It irks me when I see people who don't deserve them, do thus crap, have them and people who do deserve them want them sooo badly struggle to conceive. No telling if the grandmother isn't any better if she coaxed the older child to be quiet/lie during the interview. That family a peice of work. R.i.p fallon prayers sent to her family. I'm glad they are doing well after such a tragic ordeal and fallon got the justice she deserved. This is why it is also getting harder and harder for parents to find trusting baby sitters/daycare. Good parents do what's nessisary for their kids. No matter what. But I get parents need a breather once I a blue moon too. Cause if the parents are suffering so is the kiddo. And a good reset does wonder for the body and mind. I've babybsitted for 8 hrs when I was a teen. for very bratty kids and I had some respect for the parents cause they go through it daily but at the same time they would be able to find actual babysisters if they correct the child's behavior and things would have been better for them. Not let them run amuck. Made me not want a kid for the longest. But my maternal clock keeps nagging at me.
This was my thought exactly. They told her Fallon was dead and she hyper focuses on her phone. They were smart to hover and snatch it from her, definitely guilty.
If I accidentally caused the death of a child, I would be a mortified trainwreck who feels like I belong in jail and I would give them every minute detail. I don't even think I'd be able to get over that in a lifetime, let alone a millisecond to fixate on my phone.
According to police, Flood searched on her phone that day, “what type of people enjoy abusing other people’s children,” and, “what does it mean to have a sudden urge to beat a child that’s not yours.”

My husband and I worked opposite shifts until our two kids were both into middle school/high school so that they weren’t at home by themselves or with anyone else because of crap like this. You can’t trust anyone with your kids. Mine are thankfully grown now and we absolutely do not regret giving up some time as a couple to ensure our kids safety. Absolutely vile woman. I cannot imagine what that poor baby was thinking and going through. Absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking that little girl is gone because of this excuse for a woman.
The fact that Fallon immediately hugged the babysitters husband when she came out for dinner (after she had already sustained injuries) just breaks my heart. Like she couldn’t have been feeling okay but was still so sweet and loving just kills me..
I'm sure she was sweet and hugged people, but she didn't hug him after that beating. That's a lie he told to cover up. She was not conscious after that intense of a beating. From the description of the injuries given by the hospital, that child was bruised all over her face and body, so there's no way he would not have seen that. The poor child had a fractured skull, and massive internal bleeding.

Idk what his "history" is, but it was infuriating everything she started trying to blame him. Just for no reason at all she claims he is abusive and does "weird" things to her and that's why she is always so quiet. WTAF. I have no tolerance for the kind of BS she keeps claiming. I get judged a lot for being a stay at home dad, but i don't trust not one other person besides my mom and my wife to watch my son. You never know who will do something to your kid when given a chance.

This story breaks my heart. That woman is pure evil, and I am appalled and infuriated by Kirstie 's audacity and attitude toward Kristen. My heart breaks for Kristin. Not only did she lose her baby, her friend MURDERED her baby while caring for her. And then proceeded to throw Kristin under the bus. It's so so awful .... What's worse is I've seen people blaming the mother for this, as if she hasn't been through enough. She was doing the best she could with the resources available. She was as much a victim as anyone. It's appalling.

As a neonatal/maternity RN, I can’t emphasize this enough: even uncertain CPR is better than no CPR!!!
This woman gave me the heebie-jeebies immediately. “Always smiling… always happy… CLEARLY a sign that step-father is abusing her.” Like woman be so for real right now Jesus Christ.
She did everything motherly possible. Except learning the basics for cpr. And then to watch other people’s children as a super mom- and she can’t even cpr….
I thought the same, that was the most bizarre thing. I realize she’s grasping at straws at that point but in what world does a consistently happy, smiling, mild mannered child indicate abuse? Her brain is working hard to come up with anything to turn suspicion away from herself so she’s just talking without even realizing the things she’s saying aren’t even logical.
I actually did CPR when untrained with the help of a 911 person telling me what to do.. I did it for approximately 6 minutes until the medics arrived and a life was saved. It was a sudden cardiac arrest and he recovered fully. So yes uncertain CPR is better than nothing...

There's something about the way they both keep bringing up not knowing how to do CPR or how much force they should use. I think Kirstie beat Fallon enough to make her either lose consciousness or perhaps even stop breathing entirely. She had no choice but to give CPR to cover it up, but she did it too hard (possibly knowingly) and just made everything worse. Or at least this video really underlines how many times and in how many different contexts and points of time they both keep mentioning it.
Edit. I commented before watching to the end, but in another video it's shown that when Kirstie went to pick up her phone, she claimed that when she called 911 she was instructed wrong in giving CPR and that her own mom had told her so. Later it was found out that she was instructed correctly.
Saying that little girl only wanted to cuddle with her and waking up sweaty together really disturbed me. She was abusing her in that way to. Twisted vile human.
I graduated from high school in 1987 I was only 17 because I started kindergarten when I was four. I had a job working at a restaurant from 6 to 2:00 but I wanted to get a different job as a second job. I found a job as a nanny for a couple down the street from my brother. Husband was a truck driver and the wife was a nurse. The wife started getting home later and later and I told her I have to get to bed Mrs Cooper I have to be at work at 6:00 in the morning. She asked me if I wanted to just start spending the night at her place Monday through Friday. . I told her sure why not. The youngest boy was named Mitchell and he was 18 months old and he slept at a crib. There was a spare bed in his room so I would always sleep in the bed. Mitchell really liked me and he would always want to sleep in bed with me and I was telling his mom and she said I don't care. He did sleep in the bed which was a queen size with me a few times but we weren't cuddled up together and we certainly weren't sweaty that's just disgusting
She was also charged with Aggravated Sexual Battery, so I think more was going on in the bed. Disgusting!

Yeah, I don't think it came across as they possibly meant. I think they tried to covey what Kristen possibly thought once she learned of the whole situation and that caused the tragic death of her child. She had trusted someone, and was betrayed in a horrific way. So perhaps the narrative in this video was trying to convey that she (Kristen) felt huge guilt in placing that trust. The phrase was horribly terse and too easy to misconstrue. And they state at the outset of the video, they are trying to use the case as a wake up call, I guess to parents.
This channel should have read out the allocution statement when the two pled guilty. If one was made. It provides an opportunity for defendants to accept responsibility. Usually the courts insist one is made as part of the plea deal. Doesn't change the results though.
They say similar stuff in regards to other cases it's insensitive to say the least and as you say it's not her mom wasn't there for her she'd done something she'd done b4 and put her child in the trust of a friend.

As a former addict I am so happy that even through all of this pain and suffering, this mum never fell back into her old habits. It is so hard to stand strong when you lose someone, especially a child, and especially as a former addict. The love she has for her children saved her. She is remarkable, and I hope she knows that.

Yes! It gets so difficult sometimes when you're under so much stress! The way it would make me feel if I lost one of my children like that, I would've slipped up... But knowing that I'm an addict and knowing I still have my kids, I have to stay strong, which is exactly what this woman needs to do. She is so strong and she will get through this ❤

When you've watched enough "Intervention" and "Hoarders" you start to realize that most addicts and criminals had fucked up childhoods. I would bet my car that she was abused by her own stepdad and was reenacting that abuse on Fallon by proxy. Like she was so convinced it could and would happen, that she took it upon herself to MAKE it happen. It sounds insane to normal people but the brain deals with unprocessed trauma in completely insane ways. She deserved help for whatever she was dealing with, but now she deserves to rot in a prison cell for the rest of her days.
@@aawillma That's a very solid theory honestly. At the very least, she likely was the victim of some sort of abuse that caused her to perpetuate it herself. Like I don't feel like regular people just have the urge to harm other people's children. I can't imagine hurting any child. There has to be some sort of explanation. Not that it excuses any of it. I definitely agree that it could have been her step-father, but I also feel like she just felt like he'd be the easiest to try to blame it on. This case is SO much like the case of babysitter Lindsey Parrtin, who killed 3 y/o Hannah Wesche. The details are eerily similar, from the husband getting the child's father a job where he works, to leaving the toddler with the wife, and the wife making multiple claims of how it must've happened, including blaming the child's father. It's just sad how much these cases are alike!
And she says “my kids are fine explain that!!” Because people beat other kids and not their own all the time…. 😒

Watching her interview, I can honestly say, a case hasn't infuriated me this much in a long time. I can usually muster up compassion for everyone, victim and perp alike. Doesn't mean I condone the crime, just that I can understand how sometimes life can spiral out of control and all that. But THIS woman, THIS senseless act of violence, and then her attitude after the crime....I have zero sympathy.

You can Google their charges for a bit more detail although I didn't dig too hard so I didn't find much. My personal belief is that the boyfriend didn't harm Fallon but was present when she was murdered and I think it would be hard to prove one way or another if he'd harmed her. So if he didn't take the plea deal he could have ended up with a worse charge/longer sentence.
As soon as this girl started to yell at the detective I say she did the very same thing to little Fallon and took her anger and jealousy out on an innocent precious little girl. This lady made herself look more guilty than innocent.

For her to say "don't ruin my life" to the detective in regards to this interview after she already lost a child is really something. Like, if you cared about your child then wouldn't you consider your life already ruined? Especially in the immediate shock and aftermath. I know when my older brother died, my mom definitely described her life as ruined.

Honestly, I think they cut out her reaction. Not that I’m saying I know she cried, but it’s clipped you can tell. Either way, I would be on the floor, screaming and not asking about my phone no matter what amount of missing time is between the two.

If you look it up, it says Fallon was brutally beaten. She sustained a skull fracture and multiple internal injuries. The warrant describes extensive bruising all around the child’s head, on her abdomen and on her elbows, arms and legs. Her internal injuries were more severe.
But these two also pleaded guilty for aggravated sexual battery. So that happened too.

I have during the weekend, usually because she had a late lunch or grazed too much mid day and wouldn’t eat dinner at the normal time (we eat at the table as a family every weekend 5:30-6). That’s not unusual but the nap is.

This lady is a piece of work. First of all, if a kid I was caring for was showing signs of struggling to the hospital right away no questions asked. And when she finds out that the kid might not make it she doesn't seem like she gives a crap. I would be a sobbing mess. I'd be crying so much the police would get annoyed with me because I wouldn't be able to get a word out.
And she asked if she could spend the night that's suspicious that tells me she was trying to hide something and fight for time. She sounds so selfsih.

Kirstie Flood had been a close friend of Kristin Fridley-Gant, Fallon’s mother. According to Fridley-Gant, Flood claimed the toddler hit her head on a slide at the playground although she sought no medical care or other assistance for her until she was unresponsive later that night.
After she was taken to the hospital, doctors discovered a skull fracture and bruising on various parts of Fallon’s body which didn’t align with Flood’s version of events. An autopsy revealed Fallon suffered lacerations on her liver, spleen, and colon.

The police always let people talk. People think they can talk their way out of it, but they're building the case against themselves. It's almost impossible to keep their story straight over time, they start changing their story little by little. The only problem is sometimes innocent people make themselves look guilty, too. But guilty people almost always give themselves away.
That’s why they did it. They knew exactly what they were doing they also let her think she was the smartest person in the room the entire time.
