Mate,. I just found your channel. Good reviews, good tips and tricks. Definitely underrated channel. I hope you get more views and subs. Keep up the good work
Thank you! I just got a lot of red dot rounds from Rosemary and Co and I’ll use them for the first time. For me it’s great to get to experience something to a sable and don’t be thinking a cute animal has hurt so I could use a nice brush
@@FlyingRavenStudios I’m happy to share that these are the best brushes I have ever used! They are super soft, they get a lot of pigment and you can do soft washes leaving no marks behind, such a joy to paint with them. I live in Mexico, so the tax and shipping are very expensive, but it was totally worth it!
I do like Rosenary & Co brushes, their sables and other synthetics are great fun to use. I use the series 33 for a lot of my painting but I also like the series 93 short pointed rounds as well, for a bit of extra control. I've been ruminating over the red dots for a while. I have some Shiraz synthetic ones (this company has such a huge choice of brushes and styles, it's quite bewildering, but in a fun way) and they're already pretty good, so maybe it's time to take the plunge.
Nice update! Need to re'supply my cheaper brushes soon, so will have to see if my "supplier" has decided to add R&C to their stock. ot: Never tried a R&C brush myself, so while I don't have anything to compare with I'll suggest everyone to be checking out the local art supply store. Most "real" art stores carry their own brand of brushes (usually both synthetics and real hair) that are extremely competitively priced.
Thanks! Yeah R&Co. are an artist brush company based here in the UK. If you want to check them out for a comparison, then there are some direct links in the description. 👍
@@FlyingRavenStudios Thanks! Been looking at R&Co now and again, but sadly the shipping + import charges makes them almost as expensive as a kolinsky brush. :'( Why doesn't the EU have more fun miniature stuff?! :'( :)
@@FlyingRavenStudios Well, when buying more expensive stuff/bigger orders it's ok! But ordering just a brush for £2.15 + shipping + vat + custom handling charges brings that 1 brush up to £25+, so 😢
I hope this update helps! What other questions would you like me to investigate?
Great video. Have you tried and tested their miniature series 363. Would love to see a comparison video to the series 33 and even red dot 🙂
Oooh that's an idea. Yeah I will take a look!

Thanks for this! I have not seen the series 93 yet (like you say they have a huge range). So I will definitely check those out in a bit
Thank you for the update! :D
Your welcome 😁

Its weird isnt it. Sometimes its cheaper to import and sometimes not. Always on the lookout for options 😁

For the amount of money that you spend on these, for them to not be completely destroyed after 6 months is insane to me
Makes a nice change doesn't it 😀
