    I would make it TAPED: D for diagnosis. You can't let UAP do that either. Basically in the ADPIE the unlicensed personnel can only do the I. Implement..and even then it depends on the scenario. But something like pt is receiving opioid..plan is to give med. Plan is also to watch for constipation. You could tell the UAP "let me know if the pt does not pass stool within 48 hours". The UAP is most likely to know the bowel habits anyway.

    Don't forget, I believe ATI says that the RN does most of TAPE INITIALLY and the LPN can do TAPE as reinforcement or after the initial done TAPE that the RN did. So anything new, the RN MUST do and not the LPN. Only after it's been done by the RN can the LPN do anything like the RN.
