This is the second home in which ruclips.net/user/postUgkx0jZ_lGlDVJhDnmagEU8gn47cmfPNlLQU we've replaced our "regular" doorbell with a Ring video doorbell and we really enjoy it. It is very easy to install and it works very well, with a clear picture through the app and good in-home use (we added the chime, which is also easy to install and doesn't require another thought to use).

Agree 💯. Was irritated that the lady that owned the camera didn't come out to help like wtf it was a child that was lost and as a woman u should have motherly instincts.
He's gotta be super worried that he could be accused of all kinds of things in this day and age. I'm sure it's the last thing he wants to do, but he knows his conscience couldn't take it if the kid ran into the street on her own.

So glad I don't live in a tough area anymore. I live in the mountains and my closest neighbor is a sweet old couple that invites me for tea. They have the cutest chihuahua. But people, carry or don't go out at night.

Let me get this straight,the pizza delivery guy gets caught taking packages while the homeowner is inside and fully aware that the packages were out there?? Why not take them in if you are aware that they are right outside the door?? Am I missing something???
Tell me about it! It drives me mad when I see people who know they have packages waiting *not* take them inside. Having said that, the homeowners could also not be at their house when the thieving goes down. But I still say getting a PO Box is the best way to thwart porch pirates.

If you're not willing to protect your property then maybe you don't deserve to have it. I know that if a thief really wants to steal something, they're gonna do whatever it takes to get it. But thinking that "It'll never happen to me!" & then crying about it when it eventually does happen makes me wanna slap their face & say "You're at fault nearly as much as the thieves are for thinking you're immune to being taken advantage of!!!" My "tame" coyotes are all over the neighborhood. I think I'm the only one who knows they are resident. They run like smoke if you make a noise. My "weapon" of choice is a sauce pan and wooden spoon (mostly to make raccoons stop fighting). If you don't corner them, they will always run. I've had them follow me out hunting or doing search and rescue, and while I usually just laugh, "shoo" sends them flying.
