I am not a reseller. I don't garage sale hunt or hit up estate sales. I own a 3D printing business that I started in November and is growing faster than I could ever imagine. Yet, I still binge your channel more than any others. You have that small business next door feel that really connects with people. I love following your stories and taking notes. Even though I'm not in reselling you share some great stories and tips that are universal to those selling online. Thanks for creating amazing and frequent content for us to watch while working and dreaming.
Finally got an Ebay office after 13 years reselling. Had an extended holiday shutdown from work. Im more organized than I have ever been. Even had my brother make me a flat lay for clothing for my Christmas present. It's great!
And when I’m putting the stock back, after inventory, it’s an opportunity to pack it in better and free up some more space in that Shelf (cube, bin, etc). It’s also a chance to pick a different storage location that might serve the item type - better fit, less chance of damage, etc..
You guys for the first time mentioned that sometimes old listing disappear! I figured this out last summer when was doing the inventory double check. I thought I was going insane - 15 listings (I remember listing 2 for sure) are ended without ebay telling me. I thought it was a glitch. It was not. Now I am more careful - I relist or put on deep sale old stuff periodically.
You guys are doing great! I have only been reselling for a year, since January 2024, and I am only doing it as a hobby for fun. All of the new things you are doing looks like they are successful and you guys seem to be a bit more invigorated for the New Year. Love you channel!
18 places so just do 1-2 a month after your initial audit. This is part of my monthly routine, I have 48 boxes full of inventory, since I also list in sequential order (meaning I list from 1-48 then back to 1) I'm always auditing my oldest inventory, I'm changing prices, removing bad items and making sure everything is listed. I don't cross post so I don't get inventory issues but it's always best to add some sort of inventory checkup throughout the year.
Inventory management is to keep track of WHAT and HOW many you have. WMS- Warehouse management system keeps track of WHERE your inventory exactly is in your "warehouse" Lots of off the shelf systems available.
Smurf items get removed by eBay a lot. International Merchandising, Promotion and Services SA, the company that has the rights to the IP of the Smurfs, is very aggressive when it comes to anything Smurf related that's not offical merch. Even some vintage stuff from the 60's and 70's gets removed because they don't have the copyright logo on them, even though they were completely legal at the time.
Doing a big inventory check over as well. Plan on doing it once a year. Generally pretty good at keeping up with it, but I generally find items that cancelled and failed to relist due to quantity listings or other reason.
Haha very funny I do the same thing bottom shelf for things need to be listed and I also needed to do inventory checks as I sold a few items that I no longer had.
Hello thanks for sharing, I do remember you have a location called underneath the A/C, is that location part of shelf 4 or 7? Also you have hat boxes A B C underneath the computer bench are you going to inventory them?
I love learning how to organize better from video and comments! Thank you, Lonnie and Candice (I hope I spell your name right this time 😊)! Thank you, everyone in the chat who share their experience!
Happy New Year, Candice and Lonnie! Glad you're safe. Well done on the per day inventory. It's like an annual physical for your business. Keep up the great work. 💖☮🙏
Hey Guys, I really like the "Lonnie's Losers" segment but to be fair their must be things that Candice looses track of too (Like the glasses under the back seat of the truck). So it would only be fair to start doing "Candice's Conundrums"
Doing this is so important, cross listing and forgetting to remove items from ebay is so bad, I wish they would be a bit more lenient with it as I have 1 item I had to cancel and if I cancel another 2 I get to loose my top seller status and it is so easy to do. Even when you go to put an item away after listing it and you have to put it in another place as original is full then you forget to change sku and then it sells and you cant find it, man I do that a lot! Anyway it also is good for freeing up room to. I have boxes that just wont go down and I know there is a lot of stuff in there unlisted and I do an inventory check on it and bingo a o lot of stuff has fallen of the system. Back in the lock down when we could not source I found over 60 items not listed which was handy
I swear I remember you getting a smurf from that box in one of your videos and think it was a sale. I know you searched but I thought I would let you know. thanks for helping me see what you guys do to update your inventory. I learn so much from ya'll! God bless
Hi, question for you. The nesting dolls….how can one be sure they are Russian and that they are hand painted? I’ve seen them with just a number written at the bottom but nothing else.
Thanks for the video. Used to do inventory as you suggested by using my SKU field to search for "Contains" on each of my inventory locations. Ebay "updated" my search page of current listed inventory and I only have a general search function that searches all fields - not very helpful. Anybody know how to go back to or access the old style search function? Thanks.
Hello from Germany 🙂 ... I am a private seller ( with tax-number !! ) ... when I list something on auction for -- let`s say 10 days --- E-bay will reset the auction 8 times . And buy-now - things also stay for 8 times ... The buy-now always go for 30 days in Germany . Then they fall out of the listing if not sold by then . I havent found out yet if they are deleted when the item has watchers or not ....

This inventory check is very satisfying to watch. Please don’t do it offline. This is primo content! Happy New Year!
Great information, but more importantly Candace's hair looks amazing! happy New Year guys!

More Space, as shown a few minutes later. LOL

I ordered the Old/New Testament University Prints. Love the channel.
Loving the content. Inventory and Lonnie’s Losers. Great job guys.

I love that you guys are organizing the shelves as you go. Looks nice! 👍🏽

Is Candace wearing a Def Leppard shirt? It looks like it! (YOU GO GIRL ... )
Great ideas. Been doing this during. Christmas break. I found Ebay had relisted some sold items. Weird. Great video
Happy New Year, Shed Heads!

I was in the exact situation and had to change my inventory system. Very important topic and well done.

Very good advice. Thank you for another great video.
Enjoyed the inventory check it’s surprising what slips through the net 😊 and we are currently watching squid games 2 as well love it 😊

That’s why I don’t delist sold items(marketplace)until actually picked up/paid.
My husband and I binge watch the whole new season of squid game last Friday. We were up until 4 AM.
Thank you! This makes my eBay life easier!
Very interesting video. I like the way you do your inventory.
Hope your day is wonderful! Hugs love!❤😊❤
Were the bladders worth keeping at 9 dollars?
Are you going to track items found on shelves and not listed/wrong location etc?
How do you delist and sell similar and keep the inventory accurate on your crosslisting platforms?

Smurf May be spelled incorrectly in your listing, if there is a listing.
Since things tend to sell after you touch them, now you are going to sell everything in the cube.
Thanks so much
How did you only lose it for a couple of months? I lost mine for out of stock, and won't get it back until they drop off in March!

1-30 out of 36 search result, shouldt there be another page with stuff in the cube? I may be wrong or misunderstood
5:28 No, it is 30 of 30. 36 ist the total quantity (some listing were multiples). 👍
Don't forget the hat bin
