I just took the trash out and it is so cold! Another cold front went over today. Supposed to get down into the mid 30s to low 40s tonight. That’s freezing to me 🤣

Hi Christine. I know what you mean about the weight loss battle. I was able to loss weigh when I was younger. I will be 65 this week and it seems like nothing works for me. I think it gets harder as we age. I see you put your bananas in a zip lock bag. I bought some last week and they're still looking good in the bag. Thanks for another great video.
@@shirleys765 Hi Shirley! Oh yes, it does get harder the older we get. I remember a few years ago, I lost close to 30 pounds. It took a while but I did it. It’s just so easy to put the weight back on! Yes, I did bag up the bananas when you told me about that and they still look as good as when I got them 😃. If I hadn’t put them in the plastic bag, they’d be almost banana bread ready. Thanks again for the tip! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you in the next one ❤️
I’m like you I’m a foodie. I eat when I’m stressed, full, and all the time. What I find for me is to get your water amount in and get your body moving my increasing your steps. Before my foot surgery I wasn’t able to do any exercise. I only got my steps in. I know you have a computer job maybe try getting a standing desk or even a walking pad.
I’d like to get a walking pad to help get my steps in during the winter months.
I have one of those stand up desks to use when I am in the office and a treadmill to use at home. I have just gotten so lazy when it comes to that. I know what to do and I know what triggers me to eat - I just have to discipline myself somehow to do what’s right. It’s just a never ending cycle 😩 I’m not giving up though - maybe one day I will get the mind set again!
@ yah get that. Yes it took me to switch my mind set as well. Back when I first started my journey in 2018 I got an app, I’d read the health articles. One of their suggestions was to get an accountability partner. My accountability partner was actually my doctor. I’d go in every month to check in and tell her how it was going.
I look at my reset as a time to get my home in order from the previous week. I’ll do my laundry and do the dishes since it’s me I don’t have a lot. I may do some other things around as well.
Today should’ve been my reset day because I’ve been away from my place. I had surgery so I needed to move to my mom’s house during my recovery. I wrote down what I needed done for my list as of right now that list is to overwhelming for me. I was able to accomplish putting my coffee bar back together. However my Keurig doesn’t want to work so I guess I need to descale it since it set for 2 months without using it. I might be able to accomplish a few more things tonight before I go to bed and back to work.
I know you were in a boot a while back. I’m relearning how to walk in the boot. I’m not able to walk barefoot yet but I should be able to just stand to take a shower.
Hi Amanda! Yes, rest your foot! I know that’s easier said than done though. I remember when I was in the boot, I kept going on about my business, but kept in elevated when I went to bed (I couldn’t wear that thing in bed 😂). I hope you get to feeling better soon ❤
@ thanks. Yeah while I was in the cast I’d keep it elevated. While at work I’ll use my scooter to get to and from the different rooms. Then while in the classroom I’ll be walking. I’m borrowing a cane to help me get around.
As I’m eating potato chips watching your video. I guess it’s not going well for me either. It’s the lack of willpower for me. Oh well.
