Thanks Terri ❤ I wish I could agree with you on that one, but my house is a hairy, dusty, cluttered mess 🤣 It really is! But, it will all get strainghtened out eventually! Have a great day and I'll see you in the next one ❤
Hi Christine! Great video as usual, gave me motivation to get the bathtub cleaned, which has been put off! The light weight puffy rolls you made look delicious, and I agree, when weight watching we shouldn’t totally deprive ourselves!! Headed to the Smokey Mountains Thursday for 4 days, excited to go but dreading the trip with this weather!! Take care, talk later!!
Thank you, my friend ❤ Oh, 4 days in the mountains!!! How nice, but I agree with you about the dreadful weather! You're driving there? Hopefully, the roads will be cleared off by then. Safe travels to you and enjoy your time there! Sounds like a nice time 🥰
Ah, you caught that Grand Funk Railroad playing in the background 🤣 Funny, I had to go back and rewatch to hear it again because I forgot (even after having that song in my head all day!) 😂 70's music is still my fave and still sounds good after all of these years! Now, I'll be walking around with "I'm your Captain, yeah. yeah, yeah, yeaaahhh" all day in my head again 🤣 I hope you have yourself a great day and I'll see you in the next one ❤
Good evening Christine, good job on the fitted sheet, from what I can see it looks really neat. I love Yorkshire pud (as we say😂) traditionally it goes with roast beef and baked vegies, with lots of gravy that puddles in the middle of the Yorkshire pudding. Delicious 😋. And I totally agree, you should not deprive yourself while dieting, you'll only crave it more and feel miserable. Everything in moderation 😊❤
Hi Lizzie! I love it too! I wanted to make Yorkshire pudding with the roast I made for Christmas, but didn't get the timing right, and I've been wanting them since then! Mine deflated a bit after I opened the oven door to check on them 😩 What is your recipe for them? Mine were egg-ier than I remember them, but still good (and Don liked them too!). I think my Mom used the 2:1 recipe = 2 eggs and 1 cup each of flour and milk. She always told me it's the same way she makes crepes. Of course, I only remembered that after I cracked all the eggs 🤔 I hope you are having (or had) a nice day, and I'll see you on the next one, my friend ❤
@ChristinesComforts the recipe I use is 1cup plain flour, (I think you call it all purpose flour) 1 egg Pinch of salt 1 1/2 cups milk Mix till smooth and let stand for at least 30 mins Put the oil or beef dripping into the pan and pre heat in oven till hot . Pour batter into pan. (It should sizzle) Cook until golden brown. It's normal for them to sink in the middle, that's where you pour the gravy, yummo. Good luck❤️
@@lizziemichael8155 I like your recipe better! The one I found called for 4 eggs (which is probably why they tasted too egg-y to me), 1 1/2 cups each of flour and milk. I will try your recipe this weekend! ❤
So funny! ❤
Your home is so tidy and clean. I’m jealous.
