It's honestly amazing how similar the cast are to the characters they're playing. Like yes, you have some differences but their overall attitudes are so perfect its amazing. Inaki challenging Luffy to an eating contest vs Taz saying he falls in love easily. Brilliant.

I bet they’ll do CGI with how they wanna have it not cartoony but realistic like rocket. And with how super successful & popular 1st season of one piece did Netflix will for sure focus more on em & give em a much bigger budget for them to work with so the special effects, CGI, backgrounds & set pieces, costumes, props, make up & prosthetics will be of even better quality for 2nd season! Cause some things I was like they’re kinda lagging on that but meh it was small things didn’t really matter like quality of some props, costume, CGI but overall looked great & the actors, story & feel always pulled focus & rocked. And with some of the people behind it being one piece fans themselves and working closely with the actual creator of one piece getting his approval for everything from casting to changes I think there’s high chances of em doing Chopper Justice. Wonder what direction they’ll go with his voice thou
I love the One Piece action and the cast so much, I started reading Manga because of the live action and it’s my favourite thing in the world now!! I hope that I’ll get the One Piece mangas for Christmas 🤞🏼
The live action made Luffy way too kind, Luffy is supposed to be "punch first, ask questions later" and basically has the personality of a feral monkey in human skin! Not the actors fault though, he made an amazing job with what he got!
Actually I think that works out well. I watched the LA and then hit the anime. The first episode I didn't like at all because Luffy was such an asshat to Koby. I find that later in the anime he IS kinder (I'm on the filler before Thriller Bark).
Watching the anime Luffy seems like a bratty but ok intent kid who's personality turns into a jack Russell terrier whenever he dealing with friends or food

I don't see why people are surprised by this. Of course an actor is going to do research for their role. Reading their characters One Piece wiki page is an absolute bare minimum, and that's all he needs to know about Sanji's battle techniques.

Yeah, early one piece he laugh a lot and is pretty goofy, they made him a bit too straight faced in the LA. Hope that now that Sanji joined and that the "main" crew is there they'll make him loosen up a bit.
