Yes, it is very important to pick pieces one can play! I have found it is better to choose very easy songs than too hard. Easy songs help me feel good about my playing so I can focus on good technique, and then I can work up from there.
Also, as Carrie said: it is very important to read the music and be looking ahead!

Really focusing in on the problem spots! I used that tip yesterday when practicing a piece. It helps me to play those problem spots over and over until it finally clicks with me!

Thanks Carrie, I like the tip to land on the next notes and don't even play them. Just know where you are going and repeat that until confident.

Could you make a video about What harps pieces are a must listen to as an outsider from your point of view. And what pieces are a must play, must know, or must learn at least once as a harpist (from beginners to experienced)? I am interested in playing harp after listening to a beautiful piece call At the Fountain (La Source, Am Springbtunnen) Looking forward to your videos.
