Rampage in his prime was one of the most dominant and exciting fighters...major respect 🙌
I love rampage but he wasn't dominant at all. Whenever be fought actual competition he got his ass whooped every single time..
@@jeanzyy7955 He beat Machida, Liddell, Henderson, Wanderlei Silva, Arona, Randleman, etc. etc. Have another donut.
@@crazyangus862 Alexander gustafsson beats all of them so does rumble
You could say that about any of this out fighters good job for being one of the first person to comment on this video and make yourself at the top I guess you're a UFC Fanboy number one
Rampage in his prime blah blah blah blah blah
Big respect to Rampage. He took it to Chuck when everybody was afraid of him.
Beat him twice
NASCAR fans cried that night
@@misterceo2168 Don’t forget Metal Mulisha fanboys dying 😂
He beat him twice so..
That was the biggest event in my mma awakening
It's so crazy how successful Adam is and simultaneously seems to know SO little about damn near everything. It's like he's got the first sentence read on a lot of subjects and that's IT lol
lol yeah hes def dumb
Welcome to the wonderful world of Mediocre White Men who are wildly successful.
He's the prime example of how consistency and marketing beat talent and intelligence. As long as you keep pushing ahead confidently, you can succeed where smart people fall short.
Adam's parents were part of the elites. Adam is undercover part of the paradigm shift
hes dumb af
Needs to be on JRE He has some dope Storys and a wild Life
Nah fr cause this whole interview was great and I would love to hear him talk more
Adam should have let someone else interview rampage. U know.. stop hogging all the famous ppl. But he still my boy. Love the show
Him and Bas on the same podcast would be nuts
Why would Joe have this burnt out MMA fighter on his pod cast lol
@@PrettyFLY4aWiFi. stfu and go cry somewhere else lmao. Just cause you don’t agree doesn’t mean he shouldn’t.. he literally has the most RANDOM guest. So what does it matter. Jesus y’all just love to hate 😂
“I’ve never done steroids, just testosterone” Rampage
Lol
Adam instantly said: "aren't steroids just synthetic testosterone?" Rampage: "kinda but it's like a different molecule". --------- Nate diaz: "you're all on steroids"
Hahahaha good call bro 😂
Amazing how almost no one caught that.
As soon as they say they know nothing about steroids and don’t understand it all I see are red flags.
Seeing RJ this vulnerable speaks volumes of the man he is today.
All true greats are humble.
Not true Hitler wasn’t humble at all
Rampage definitely has never been humble..
He a good dude after he had children
Rj lol
All true greats are humble when they age. Not so humble when theyre young
Rampage is the man. Used to see him at the gym. Super humble nice guy
👍👍
Funny as hell too
Rampage is articulate and funny He should have a podcast
Rampage is hilarious, but he's clearly not articulate. That's one reason why he's so damn funny
articulate lol.
@@beewalk34 I hear ya but disagree , he expresses himself clearly its just his unique style of humour that has you tricked
He is far from articulate, but we can at least understand what he says and he is extremely likable.
Well he's got one now- and killing it in my opinion!
I know he lost to him before but when Rampage came over from Pride and beat Chuck for the the UFC belt it crushed my world. I was such a big Liddell fan and that was the beginning of the end for the ice man. Rampage when properly trained and motivated was a killer. Very tough guy
Cool story!
Same! I started watching during the first season of the ultimate fighter and chuck became my favorite fighter and that was the first UFC ppv I ever watched and he got dropped instantly I was so shook
Those were the days. I never get hyped for cards anymore. I probably only watch one every 2 months these days, if that. I remember a group of friends and I would never miss a card, always got together to watch. I am the only one that even watches it anymore out of that group of probably 12 people or so.
I am glad I got to see a live Pride event before they went under at least. That was my favorite org. by far.
The beatdown he put on chuck in pride was much more brutal.
We were all crushed bud. Chuck is a legend.
He seems to have become very humble and calm in his old age
He was always humble
He's not old?, biden is old dummy
He's always been this way, he plays a character. A character who's usually playful himself, check out him messing with Ariel Helwani, people thought he was serious but they're good friends. He's a super nice guy, but like everyone, he has a limit and when that limit/line is crossed, rampage comes out.
He has gotten. More humble as there are plenty of stories of how he has been a dick (and he has been upfront on this). He just ALWAYS had a fragile ego when he was fighting however.
@@yamahakid450f no lol Rampage, at least at first, legit did not like Ariel. Most fighters didnt back then. Nick diaz wanted to slap him
Rampage is right about them kicking harder in Japan (pride & k1) because they encouraged use of lido/novacaine and guys would shoot it in the legs and be able to go out and fire kicks at full clip without feeling anything. Gary Goodridge talks about it in an interview.
That's awful, imagine when it wear off 😂
@@grayalun nah fr 🤣🤣😳
If that’s true then how in the fuck did Mark Hunt eat a Cro Cop kick full flush to the face then get up immediately.. •_•
@@99mattdogg Because back then Hunts chin was made of granite.
can you find the interview tytyty
Rampage doing the Chuck Liddell belly is still probably one of the top 10 funniest things I've ever seen. Rampage is a legend. Watching him in Pride with all those guys back then was truly a great time to be an MMA fan.
He had a spot in Irvine Orange County my pop used to do carpet cleaning for him. We mainly dealt with his cousin they are good dudes. They also bred Cane Corso‘s and bull mastiffs. My mom traded him some work to get me a puppy. He’s still with me he’s actually looking at me whimpering right now hah he’s 11 years old names Claymore. Wish I could post a photo
How much does your dog weigh? 11 seems old for a big breed, I hope you have many more years with him/her
I may be too local but where I’m from, work = blow, y’all had RJ jumpin off blowcaine?😂
@@marcusash7 Rampage is from The M, yk that mane the plug
@@LetsTalk-fk9cc Ong
Rampage is underrated. He was the biggest star in the UFC at one time.
Facts
I cant lie... when I was in karate, I definitely put a post up or two about the leg kicks.. Im sorry Rampage 🥹
Hey man you admitted it. That's says a lot of your character very rare in the internet ppl post knowing it's negative and laugh as they exit the app knowing it gonna get mad reactions. And never admit to it like some scum. Kudos to you bro
He lost the title to Forrest behind those leg kicks
@Philjon Eisom and he NEVER lived it down, bro I've been in forums during bellator fights and they still talk about leg kicks😅🥺😵💫 I feel bad now lol
@@MandosCulture then his ass should’ve checked leg kicks especially if he’s done it before😂😂😂
Rampage single handledly ushered in the next era after he KO’d Chuck Liddell when he was *king* and everyone thought nobody could beat him in the UFC. Rampage was the last stop on the Chuck Liddell revenge tour too (he previously was coming off of avenging loses against Randy Couture and Jeremy Van Horn I think). People forget but Rampage is a *significant* figure in UFC history and not just because he was champion l.
Joes just scared about Rampage roasting him for 2 hours
Rampage howling in the tunnel/preflight has always stuck in my head. Living legend right here.
Rampage look like flakko daddy
Am dead
😂
Shut up
jeez he makes adam look like a child. i want flakkos best friend destiny try to seriously debate rampage face to face...
@@aSSGoblin1488 I told you to be quiet
Meeting Rampage must feel like a fever dream. He is a living legend plus no one will ever wear a chain in their walkout better than he did.
Rampage actually sounds articulate and intelligent here.
I guess getting older, not getting hit in the head as much and less playing it up for the cameras might be a reason.
Using less Peds might also be a reason
I really like rampage. Both as a fighter and he genuinely looks like a good guy.
I want to see an interview where bas rutten and rampage tell their craziest street fight stories haha that would be the funniest/craziest podcast.
I cant say how much humbleness and pureness rampage expressed
We love rampage and would love to see him on JRE.
Rampage has always been humble he just put the act on in front of the camera in his fighting days
I never really thought about it, but absolutely, we need to have Rampage on JRE. There's no way that would not be a great show.
i agree with Rampage. i would joke around with my friends watching the fights and ill say "man joe really loves those leg kicks" as a bit of a joke but hearing a fighter say it i knew i wasnt crazy lol
It’s probably due to Joe’s taekwondo background
Rampage and Flakko related lol
How can you not love this guy ?!?!?
Sweet! I hope to see Rampage on JRE soon after seeing this.
Rampage was a walking promo and a bad ass....Lizzy reminds me of a lot of aspects of Rampage ...he basically carved the way for these younger guys his promotional skills were effortless his personality screamed superstar
He’s absolutely right about that bias. It affects the fans and possibly the judges. Even the fights can be altered when they’re too vocal and damn near coaching the fighters
Ya there's no way Joe still holds any type of grudge about that, I guarantee he would agree with Rampage if they were talking on the pod. We DEFINITELY need Rampage on the JRE show. Rampage has some crazy story's about the early fighting days
Rampage is so cool calm and collected I’m surprised
Joe was right about Rampage. Watching his fight with Forrest Griffin was frustrating, and I agree that the kicks likely didn't bother him because Griffin didn't kick that hard, but he was stealing the rounds that way.
Joe was literally giving every Rampage opponent the gamelan to beat him. That should never be allowed as a color commentator. No different than what Joe did to Jan Błachowicz a few months ago after a close fight that was most likely a draw. Joe literally told him to his face that he lost the fight and he should do the right thing(By admitting it) 20 seconds after the fight was over. Lol the fucking audacity. Dana white should have immediately publicly reprimanded Joe after that, maby a short suspension. But nothing happend. Joe has been a problem for a while.
@@mikerhem1273 you think a mma gym needs to hear joe Rogan say something as a commentator to see a simple game plan like leg kicks on fighters like rampage an Nate etc that’s a really dumb justification by you. “Dana should’ve given joe a short suspension” god you’re a cry baby
@mike rhem Joe was giving the gameplan? Joe of all fucking people? Lmao if Joe Rogan is giving up your gameplan you need a new fucking gameplan. Some of these professional coaches and trainers see WAY more than Joe and they'll be all over that shit
@@mikerhem1273 as a fighter if your trainers can’t see how to beat your opponent, you need a new team. Joe is pointing out what we all see. Now YOU are def the definition of a casual, I don’t throw that word around like most people do but this comment is poster boy casual 😅 sit down bruh and enjoy the fights
@La Tortuga Ninja you wrote a response that I wanted to say, so you saved me some time lol.
Dude is savage mma fighter...with the personality of Shaq! Can never be hated on
He’s hilarious with Shannon Briggs!
I remember that about the leg kicks and I always said he doesn't want to be taken down Rampage hands ko Chuck and won the championship UFC belt LET'S GO CHAMP
Great conversation...💯
Rampage is my favorite fighter. Dude is wild for sure, hope he stays in shape.
I think that ship has sailed
One of my most favorite human beings on this planet. Rampage is the man.
Amazing fighter and if you watched the Pride fights back in the day, he also gave the best interviews
I rewatch ppv the day after with the volume down to be able to better judge a fight from my perspective commentary can definitely influence
Adams hair transplant looks like it needs a tune up.
I love Rampage!! He's funny af and real.
Rampage is easily my favorite of the old guard. You knew if the fight went on long enough you'd see some wild shit every time.
Rampage was a savage back in pride and prime ufc days
He said he’s never taken steroids but he has taken testosterone 😂
Facts lol
Testosterone is a hormone. Not a steroid. Both are cheating though
That's just because he sees testosterone as more natural. Since it's Something our body naturally produces. He views "steroids" as something we don't produce naturally (Tren for example). I'm not sure if he is just feigning ignorance or really doesn't understand it.
Alot of what he says during this video heavily implies that, in my opinion.
Joe & DC says every opponents weaknesses & strengths. . Superstar or not. 💯
The commentary part was so real, i remember in the second Colby vs Usman match, the commentary tried to make Usman look a lot better than he was in that fight, even tho Colby won 2 rounds(In my opinion 3) they were making it look like Usman was dominating the fight.
They should make it so you can turn color commentary off and just here the punches and kicks/ corners
One time when I lost my mind on some bunk acid I thought I was dead, and the first cop who approached me looked like Rampage Jackson in my mind so I thought you had to fight Rampage to get past the first circle of hell lmao. That didn’t end well for me
UFC needs to have an option for tuning out the commentary but still allowing the crowd noise.
Rampage a real dawg, glad to see he's doing good.
I remember this lol. Social media was going crazy about the leg checks after Joe mentioned it
Leg kicks would've opened up better looks for rampages punches. As seen in Forrest fights leg kicks also took a toll on rampage. Joe simply wanted him to round out his game more
Rampage a straigh fucken legend. Ko artist, will slam u in to another dimension, and super entertaining to watch and hear talk.
I never thought I would hear Rampage say molecule.
rampage was always one of my Fav fighters. I never heard him make excuses when he lost.
Rampage earned my respect a long, long time ago. I was stationed in Japan when he was in Pride.
He's so right him & DC are so biased with certain fighters or style of fight but if you listen to Cruz or Felder those guy's are so professional they are better at letting you know what's really going on
He was right about Rampage tho lol
Didn't Cruz suggest that McGregor was trying to tire Khabib by taking repeated shots to the face? Whenever Khabib was simply just piecing him up?
@@DrSuess360 Ya that wasnt his best commentating but i think he was just trying to keep the fans hopeful mcgregor can come back
I do food reviews on my RUclips channel while im high 🥷& im mexican
dont mention cruz, that guy says some wild shit
Best interview ever!! All them other interviews are waste of time !!
Adam balding again lol Danm that sucks
He’s on steroids that’s why… trenbolone and masteron
@@vinomeknow6100 how you notice he on steroids and is it because he wants to look good on plugtalk
@@Fucunt because im on steroids myself dawg
Forest was kicking the hell out of your leg stop it😂😂😂
The huge chain and wolf howl is what is unforgettable to me
Forrest Griffin absolutely shredded his legs!
I guarantee if rampage emailed Joe Rogan he could get on the podcast. The issue with Joe is he has so many people trying to get on the podcast that he really doesn’t have to hit people up to be on the show. I would like to see joe and rampage do an episode of MMA show
Bring back rampage. great interview.
Joe's not wrong. Rampage doesn't check or throw kicks. He gets upset when wrestlers hold him down for entire rounds. If he wanted to just box, he should have entered boxing which would have suited him better because he had incredible knockout power.
Boxing isn't just about KOs. Rampage never could have been a boxer. He's no freak Deontay that could have skipped all that technique and cardio shit as a very VERY late practitioner and ended up champion.
Crazy how you don’t even listen to what he said in the clip. In pride he always checked kicks. Rampage vs Shogun in Pride is on RUclips for proof. Do research before commenting bs pls
Subbed
Finally a normal conversation!!
Come on Joe bring Rampage to the studio.
Legendary interview
“Kicked him in the uh uh um ugh midsection” lmao
Joe is a personal friend, I’ll set it up, we’ll b in contact
This shit is tough because a leader is trying to follow me, and that don’t work and you know where I really really wanna go
My favorite fighter of all time... Tito was my first favourite when I was a highschool kid.... dyed my hair blond, and started lifting because I wanted to be dominant the way he was 🤣.... Even had a few fights (I didn't start) where I clenched threw knees took down went to mount and pounded, with 0 training 🤣🤣🤣 I had taken tae kwon do a couple years before, but never felt comfortable with the thought of throwing a high kick in a fight and getting taken down.
"Guys in the ufc don't kick hard" Forrest Griffin: hold my beer
Rampage is a good dude I’m surprised he hasn’t been on Rogan yet
The weird thing is, there's a video of them talking about this and squashing it at a ufc event
“The average fan doesn’t know what going on” Adam.. 😂😂
Nojumper needs More MMA Fighters Podcast 🙏
Very True 👍
We gotta get Rampage on JRE.
He sounds like Freddie Gibbs
Rampage was my fav character to use in the first ufc, I was putting people to sleep in the first 45 seconds every time
Rampage is a fricken legend and a funny dude.
Rampage is a real one!!!...( yea, he's kinda crazy, but he's a genuine dude )
Eddie Bravo fed Joe Rogan fight commentary through his earpiece I heard.
Joe did say Rampage was his favorite person to interview in the octagon
Man.... rampage could've said all that back then at a press conference. He was a star & people listen to stars especially after they've knocked somebody out.
bro he’s a commentator that’s literally what he’s there
Lmao the way rampage would mimic joe rogan back in the day about blowing jiujitsu lol
Would love see rampage on the podcast with Joe
Rampage “I heard about it” Jackson
Straight up LEGEND.
Rampage Need’s too go on the JRE.
I love the guy!… yet I don’t know much about him other than he’s a great fighter & He played Mr T….That’s about it.
Joe. Jamie…… Get Rampage on Boys!
…From a long time fan…. It would be an awesome episode! ❤️🤞
I mean it looked like those Forrest griffin leg kicks hurt
“He got real voicious about it” 😂😂😂
He was feared in his prime but by time he got to ufc we was on his way out. Even after he won the belt
