I so love your explores where you find the old photos and the place hasn’t been trashed beyond recognition! Really makes me want to go back in time and experience these places when they were loving, warm homes! I really get excited about the fireplaces as well! Unless houses are very old, you don’t see fireplaces in very many homes here in the USA. Something so cool about fireplaces!❤
My heritage being English, Irish and Scottish makes me really excited to see all these things that you show. I just love this place you were in! I am like a kid Christmas morning every Sunday, can't get to tv fast enough to watch you 2. I would pay money to be able to hang out with you both for a day. Sure I would piss myself laughing.
The last time I watched an explore round this place it was all neat & tidy it's such a shame people feel the need to wreck places unlike you guys who are respectful of people's property. Having watched the something flying many times & the sounds coming from another room you were definitely not alone, you spooked the spirit in one room & they moved to the other, nice to know they're still there.
I can't believe Andy just said he is going to have the song 'Spirit in the sky' played at his funeral!!! I am shocked!!! Hi you two! Just wanting to say that this fellow may be deceased! Notice how his arm at the elbow is pinned upwards with a small strange , little pin then his thumb is stuck into the jacket to help hold it up so it doesn’t fall down . Now in those days the artist photographers painted the eyes to look like they are alive so I studied this as best I could and that is suspect to me! Love you guys !
I live in a grade 2 listed cottage that was built in 1840... I can confirm that it is absolutely freezing having single glazed windows😂 unfortunately we can’t change them as it’s a listed building but it is so worth living in such an old quirky cottage with beams, I absolutely love it
Guys guys guys. History lesson about Australia and it’s climate and landscape. There’s a big desert or a few mainly on the middle. In fact, only 18% of the mainland of Australia is desert. A lot of Australia (remember the size) is just like England. In fact, go to Tasmania (Island state south of Melbourne) is just like the UK. 40 degrees south and you are 40 degrees north. And pretty much the same climate. We have many snow and ski resorts across 3 states. It rains a lot. It gets freezing. It gets hot in the summer. We have thousands of kilometres of lush farming land. We have sheep and cows. A lot of towns and cities are named after UK places. Launceston, Sheffield, Brighton, Salisbury, Loxton, Somerset, Harford, Chelsea, Epping, Somerset and about another 200 more. When you said Australia is barren unlike New Zealand… maaaaaate, couldn’t let that ride. Cheers.
You guys are quality, always guaranteed to have a giggle in all your videos. Struggling me mentally at the moment so it's great that you can lift my spirits. Keep up the great work 👍🏻

I don't care what anybody says, things that are found in these abandoned houses need to be saved. What good is it if you leave them for other explorers to find if they'll only survive another few years. Then NOBODY gets to enjoy them. That photo album for example, that's insane! And judging by the mould on it, it doesn't have much longer. These aren't ancient sites made of stone that'll outlast humanity. These are sites that have decades at most. We need to start thinking of urban exploring as archaeology rather than tourism.
All the things left should surely be saved my boyfriend and I were talking about how insane it is to leave the valuables left to rot away! It isn’t as if the people who lived here long ago are coming back!
@@junedominguez2549 Exactly. It doesn't make sense to leave valuables that owners have abandoned. That's not stealing in my eyes. It's saving. Sure, the next explorer doesn't get to see them, but I personally think saving a rare/valuable item from being destroyed is a bit more important than their video.

Another fabulous video guys! Being a slightly bit older that Andy, I am able to tell you that the credit transfer slips were deposit slips for cheque banking. When making up the takings for the day, cheque payments would be listed on the back of this slip for amounts paid and attached to the slip for deposit purposes, to separate from actual cash deposits.
Some of the items brought back lots of memories from my childhood and teen years, even the hamper box lol. It was wonderful to look round and see all the photos and nik naks, shame there is no family to take care of them or donate them to a local museum.
Fascinating! I bloody loved this! The houses are always my favourite, so much history and so personal. My grandad would have loved this too. He used to take me metal detecting when I was little, and exploring abandoned buildings. He'd make up stories about the photos and the 'treasure' we found. When he gold old and frail he wouldn't leave his house and the last 2 years of his life, he spent at home. I wish you had been around then, I would really have enjoyed your explores, and would have been able to answer loads of your questions about the old stuff you find.
*old and frail! Not gold. And I meant, I would have loved watching your explores with him. He'd forget what he had for tea, but knew exactly what a random device from the 1930s was as soon as look at him. Your programme always reminds me of him and it makes me happy.
Love this video. Bowler hats are still worn today by people showing horses. Also I'm pretty sure the group's of men in the album would more than likely have been mounted guards.
28:45 im fairly sure the very first guards regiment to have bearskin hats would have been the grenadier guards then the coldstream guards aint some guard fenatic goone but im sure when i watched a video called guarding the queen it mentioned it was the grenadier guards
I look forward to your video, you two are quite a pair. Your both so funny. Andy has to be a mind reader ,"your know what l mean Andy ,the one with the big nose" or the one who played in 🤔 What do call it ,you know Andy." It's hilarious ! .love it.🤣🤣🤣xx
So freakin funny,I was just on another channel last week(an American urban explorer)and was trying to explain what a “guzunda pot” was. My grand ma always called them that, and I think it’s the best description ever. I even said “chamber pot” and realized that not many ppl remember,or have even heard stories about the time before indoor plumbing. Almost especially here in the states. America has a tendency to just bulldoze the past. Half the places in my home town that I grew up with are parking lots now.
@@FINDERSBEEPERS . I agree ,it’s what I was drawn to about your videos, they aren’t just a quick run through. You both seem to really enjoy the history, and lives of the places you go,and it really shows. Wow so much stuff! It would take days to go through and just look at some of it! Why are all of the doors so low? I see that in a lot of places. Unfortunately for Matt there wasn’t any real good fireplaces, but we did get a good look at Andy’s expression when compared to the long faced picture! LOL! Stay safe and take care!

Such a shame all those things were left there to rot :( That singer sowing machine would be quite abit of bob now. I have an oven/cooker similar to that one. i love Vintage things like that. Hope you are both well?
Another great video boys, Sunday mornings go much better with you 2 , the China looking handbag on the table I think is a hotwater bottle I;m sure my nan had one years ago !
It's a misconception that the Golliwog and its name are supposed to be offensive. The character was created for childrens book. He was a minstrel who went on adventures with dolls. The golliwog, golliwogg or golly is a doll-like character - created by cartoonist and author Florence Kate Upton - that appeared in children's books in the late 19th century, usually depicted as a type of rag doll. It was reproduced, both by commercial and hobby toy-makers, as a children's toy called the "golliwog", a portmanteau of golly and polliwog (tad pole) ,and had great popularity in the UK and Australia into the 1970s. The doll is characterised by jet black skin, eyes rimmed in white, exaggerated red lips and frizzy hair, a blackface minstrel tradition.

Your programme always reminds me of him and it makes me happy.
Nice explore!! So sad that all these items just left to rot. You guys were definitely not alone here.
Love this video. Bowler hats are still worn today by people showing horses. Also I'm pretty sure the group's of men in the album would more than likely have been mounted guards.
Tom O'connor was the other game show host. I can also confirm C&A is still in existence here in Spain. Loved this weeks nostalgia lads!
That place is Hunted! You need to watch it with headphones on.. then you can hear the sounds in the background of the ghost.. freaky deaky
Granada TV was also a TV rental shop
This place was amazing
28:45 im fairly sure the very first guards regiment to have bearskin hats would have been the grenadier guards then the coldstream guards aint some guard fenatic goone but im sure when i watched a video called guarding the queen it mentioned it was the grenadier guards
I look forward to your video, you two are quite a pair. Your both so funny. Andy has to be a mind reader ,"your know what l mean Andy ,the one with the big nose" or the one who played in 🤔
What do call it ,you know Andy."
It's hilarious ! .love it.🤣🤣🤣xx
It’s mad and sad really we are very lucky to retain our history if only temporarily
@@FINDERSBEEPERS . I agree ,it’s what I was drawn to about your videos, they aren’t just a quick run through. You both seem to really enjoy the history, and lives of the places you go,and it really shows. I just wish there was some way to preserve the things found in some of these places, but we are a society of “head long into oblivion”.
First day watching from Australia, enjoying everything.

I do wish that you'd shown all the photo's (I wouldn't have got bored ;) ) and all the single records, I reckon me and Andy must be of a similar age ..!
Hopefully can be here for it. I have another night shift! Love you guys!
Look at the wall in the barn 49;28 I see a face looking down at Andy from above.
This has to be the best abandoned exploration I’ve ever watched!
Incredible ✨✨✨

My mom had a couple of black & white photos that she said her mother painted with a special type of paint, a kit, first type of colorized pictures. 😃

Such a shame all those things were left there to rot :( That singer sowing machine would be quite abit of bob now. I have an oven/cooker similar to that one. i love Vintage things like that.
Hope you are both well?
As a sewer and quilter, I feel so sad seeing the old singers and similar sewing machines.

I heard that noise whilst editing and I have no explanation
It must have been aliens, I thought that poor cow looked a little spooked. Why should only ghosts be blamed for unexplained things 😉😄
Was it Dale Winton??

Loved my gollie wog dont know what the big deal was enjoyed the video
There was also Golliwog biscuits in Australia.
