Yeeeaah..... watching this on March 26th in Minnesota. There's a foot of fresh snow outside my window from a 3 day snow storm covering our whole state. We have had an unseasonably warm winter and the moment the spring equinox happened, winter decided to arrive here. It appears we won't be warming back up anytime soon, not even to normal spring temperatures.
What I'm getting at is forecasting is a lot like fortune telling. There's a 50/50 chance what they say will happen.

Spring temperatures will return at some point, that’s just the thing about spring, the weather is all over the place, especially in early spring. March and April is bipolar season though by May there is usual a noticeable warm up.
