I know this spot. I wont mention it but do you ever notice that is usually smells like sewage. And the geeen algae on the bottom is the slimiest nasty stuff I've seen
I checked out one river and saw no fish, the tide was out. Not too many people at the State Park either for such a nice day, I dunno if they stocked that yet. They stock it twice, March and April. Check the list they stock both 12" -15" and 8" browns in some lakes. Some lakes just get the little guys..
I think the DEC man said most of the brown were yearlings and the rainbows were older.
I think the rainbows are always yearlings but the browns could be too

I assume you mean Belmont.. they also sometimes stock it in December with a few trophy sized trout like 5+ lbs
